I read earlier somewhere that the funeral home didn't have surveillance cameras and that the camera from the building next door that would have been trained on the door where they claim her body would have been taken from was broken.

I don't understand how the family is supporting the funeral home and so hard core. The fact is, the funeral home DID lose Julie. Whether her body was stolen or "misplaced" by the funeral home it IS their fuck up. Maybe someone from the funeral home stole her. By the sounds of it, they haven't suspected the funeral home or any of the employees from the beginning. I don't know if they interviewed them or not, but they should have. If they haven't, they're a piss poor department.

So assuming that someone stole her body because they didn't want her cremated (which I don't necessarily believe), it seems like you'd start by looking at places Julie could be buried that were meaningful to her. You don't swipe a loved one's body and then just bury it in a ditch or leave it out in the middle of a field as an alternative to cremation.

If a creepy-ish old man is shameless is enough to go by the moniker "Dick Tips," then he's maybe probably shameless enough to accept under-the-table cash in exchange for the girl's body. If he knew some people in her life didn't want her cremated, then maybe he also knew (and capitalized on) their desperation to prevent the cremation.

I agree. Something stinks about this and Dick Tips' insistence, persistence and quickness to point the finger elsewhere only makes that theory more concrete. If you fucked up that badly not only do you want to avoid a law suit, but you don't want your reputation ruined. Something like this could bring your whole business down. He has a solid motive for wanting to blame someone else and I'm sorry that you've become the patsy.

We had something like this happen locally, but it was bodies being buried in the wrong plots. The cemetery has since been bought by another company who runs it seemingly well. For the record, regardless of what you may read on Facebook or anywhere else, my baby sister Julie was stolen from the funeral home. She wasn't moved or misplaced by the funeral home. She was stolen by a very selfish person or persons. We don't know who did it but we will find out. We will get her back. And the person or persons will be dealt with accordingly.

When you walk into your daughter's room to find her dead and you know someone in the funeral business, wouldn't you call him? It's not a good time to dwell on the past. As for the searches, the reason the press was there the first time was due to us finding a body. The second was to raise awareness that we haven't given up. But there have been many others that the press wasn't there for.
