Am I totally delusional in recalling that Jodi Arias testified that she put the knife in the dishwasher? Didn't someone on this thread do some tests on their own dishwasher to determine if they could estimate the length of the knife?

I remember that testimony, too.....so, not delusions! I think she said she remembered putting a knife in the dishwasher but, because of her "fog", couldn't recall if it happened that day or a time in the past. Or, maybe I am delusional, too! ;)

I've seen shows and read books about things like this but the women usually were abused for years and years. I'm not saying that any amount of violence is okay I'm just wondering what it would mean as far as what psychologists and experts believe. It doesn't sound like they they had any extremely violent fights etc. Do you think anyone on the jury would think what she has described would lead to his mutilation? Just wondering.....

I just heard her on HLN testifying that she disclosed some of her sexual activities to Det. Flores because she didn't think there was any point in concealing it because "I already went to my Bishop about it.

I understand people saying this, but if it really came down to it, you'd probably be the same. They aren't going to chance messing anything up and not seeing the justice Travis truly deserves. They're not saints, they're smart. And civilised.

I'm guessing this is why they bothered to go into her supposed history of abuse with her family "beating" her as a child and in her past romantic relationships. I believe she talked about Bobby attacking her and choking her too.

She's absolutely NOT a battered woman - isolated incidents don't really work toward that. But they are trying to paint that.

Several times today Nurmi has testified for Jodi, and put words in her mouth. JM has objected a few times, but most times it's overruled when Nurmi is in fact leading. What's up with this judge?

um does any one remember when nurmi was yelling at jodi during part of her testimony - i can't remember exactly when, but doing it to be theatrical, to show how she would react when travis yelled at her, and she had no memory loss or shaking?

Me too. I kept telling my hubby and son that what was missing was her saying she wishes she could bring him back, that she wishes she could trade places with Travis, that she wishes it was her instead of him, or even that she wished she could take back what she'd done so Travis would still be here. The kinds of things you normally hear from anyone who is responsible for the death of another person, let alone another person they allegedly were in love with.

Nurmi's more or less telling this story for her today. Watching the tweeting world going mad with how much he's leading her. Judge taking a pounding for what she's allowed in the past two days also.
