Yea! Lack of formal education does not define stupid. If it did, the world's greatest father-in-law, (my late one) with six years of schooling, wouldn't have been able to teach me all the stuff my own educated one didn't. And, to boot, he bequeathed a pretty spiffy estate to his daughters and grandchildren. Stupid is as stupid does. Good night!![]()

Neat. We finally get a picture of what Nurmi is writing on the pad.....

I came back just for this. Yup. This guy's giving Enrique singing lessons in this clip. I'm attached at the hip to Roberta Flack. Beautiful stuff!!. Now I'm gonna listen to it all night. Once again for those who don't know, the film is titled, 'Play Misty for Me.' Watch it.

Neck or wrist strap on the camera, imo. Dropping the camera in the bathroom doesn't make sense, because it would have had to have been kicked out into the hall, as that's where the last 2 pictures were taken.
We know that Jodi fancied herself some sort of semi-pro photographer, as she even had her own website advertising her services and whatnot. I want to say that she commented about convincing Travis to buy the camera he selected -- although I personally recall his roommate, Zach, saying that he talked to Travis about a camera and recommended the one that Travis ended up buying.
Anyways, being a camera buff -- to the point where she said she had 2, didn't she? -- I'll be willing to bet Jodi had accessories, including a neck strap and a hand strap. She MAY have brought such a strap for Travis, for his camera. We know he wasn't using one because his was still wound up and in the box. I'm pretty sure too, that the camera was pretty new at that point. New enough that Travis hadn't taken it anywhere to take pics where he would need to have his hands free rather than carrying a camera around in his hands all the time.
Or it could be as simple as Jodi had her cameras in the house -- which she said -- and she just took the strap from hers and used it on his, rather than going to find his strap which was left in the box somewhere. Her strap would've been handy.

Haha! I'm just reading through about a couple (or more than that, I'm sure) of you guys feeling the trial has taken over your lives and having dreams about this frigging case. I had a dream that a fist fight erupted between Martinez and Nurmi during the trial, and me thinking "God damn it, that's probably cause for mistrial."
I can't see this cheap bitch risking ruining one of her own getting wasted full of blood. It could be if shot or a knife into his skull bone, Travis hit it out of her hand fighting for his life, or even kicked it when trying to get away from the evil one. It could be several scenerios. I like to believe it was devine intervention that preserved it all to hang her with. What poetic justice! a wanna be photographer, that wasn't any good without a delete button gets caught with deleted pictures.
It's all good, I luv ya rasiedbywolves. She can put the best of us on edge, hell, she's got me dreaming about her. I protest!
I used to be in to a program something about the world's dumbest criminals. Guess a piece of that stays with me when viewing criminals to this day. It is a stat though that a high precent of inmates have lower educations. It isn't dropping out by itself, stupid is breaking the law to start with imo. I know people with the kindest hearts that aren't educated, but they'd give you the shirt off their back. Or people like Travis from an awful beginning, with only a HS education but making a life for himself working hard. To me those are the 'smart' people.
And then, we have those like Jodi.
Not sure if it's been posted, but there is a special on CNN right now about it
Just remember where the spray of blood was- bathroom sink and where the concentration of blood was- bedroom carpet.
I was surprised when the glass in the shower came up and JA admitted to being the one who put it there. Considering all she "doesn't remember", JM was able to extract what information her needed.
Previously, when the photos of TA were on the computer monitor, you could see JA totally turning her head and body AWAY from the pictures. On the stand, she had no choice but to look. JM basically shocked her into "remembering" by presenting the photo of TA on the bottom of the shower, I was afraid for a moment JM lost his opportunity with her when she appeared to be cracking and the judge called BREAK TIME!! JM did a fantastic job. I hope this jury has their thinking caps on instead of their dunce caps like the Pinellas Tweleve!!
I too think this is right after the initial strike.. I haven't seen anyone else post of this, but has anyone else been able to tell if those two darker spots on the right side of his chest are moles, or possibly blood droplets? I've tried to view the other pictures of Travis shirtless and cannot find any that expose this area to see if they are moles, or in fact blood.
i finally caught up on the trial today. i was wondering about this a lot, because i'm pretty sure he's dead/dying in this pic. i don't know about the chest spots, but it seems like there is some blood collecting under his butt. i'm not professional or anything, but what else could that be?
