Having actual taste doesn't make a person a hater.

I'm looking forward to Crimson Peak too.

I'm checking the release date on this Crimson thing. So I can come back and read how disappointing everyone found it.

It'll be the new "worst thing ever" in no time.

Summer isn't notorious for being the season when quality movies are released. Just blockbusters.

I do want to see Trainwreck.

We just watched True Story. That movie with Jonah hill ad a journalist who wrote about the guy who killed his family. Goof movie.

ETA: not even fixing those phone typos.

Trainwreck was dope. Like, I knew I was going to laugh but it was WAY better than expected - lots of good laughs, mixed emotions, good acting, cheesy acting. An all around great movie and a pleasant surprise.

    9/10; would bang again

Ehhhhh. I'm not feeling Ricki and the Flash. At. All.

Grandma would love Trainwreck - but be prepared, it's not just swearing

Is Ricki and The Flash like the Melissa Ethridge story or something?

Nah. Basically, "Ricki" (Meryl Streep) chose being (not quite) a Rock Star over being a wife and a mother and then shows up out of the blue and can't understand why no one is jazzed to see her.

Sounds awkward as a movie. Movies about 'rock stars' are always weird.

Watching the trailer was definitely awkward as fuck. Maybe because it's not what you would expect as a Meryl Streep vehicle. I personally think it's beneath her. I mean, technically it's a movie about self awareness and "growing" and improving which IS pretty much a Meryl movie, but I guess the whole Meryl as a washed up folk rocker is what left me "ehhhhh".

A positive review. In this thread and not saying something is worse than AIDS.

I gotta see Trainwreck soon though. I love Amy Schumer. Maybe I'll see Ant Man first.

i think you will love trainwreck.

after you see it come back and tell me if you think amy schumer is a racist. i saw some feminist rant article about the problems with trainwreck today but didn't bother to read it. i thought they did a great job reversing gender roles and it was funny as fuck. lebron playing the best girlfriend was pretty great.

    It was a personal milestone.

I didn't like the way it felt though.

I love Amy. Calling her racist is fucking stupid.

I'm so glad you ignored that rant!

Has she seen Spy? I really liked it and there is way more swearing I think, but really funny.
