I really don't think she would clam up. At that point I imagine she was at a breaking point, and had Hayden thrown even a little reality at her she would have exploded. I said it before, but it really grossed me out how gently he handled the whole thing. Get that pussy out of here and get Chris Cuomo in to interview her. THAT would be interesting.
Big day on HLN. OJ, Dr. Kermit convicted on three murder counts, and Jodi...nothing noteworthy to report with her but that doesn't stop HLN.

Thanks for the warning. He is unrecognizable. Came inside, read the posts, turned on HLN and was shocked by his appearance. HLN is becoming the new "In Session" with more commercials and less informed hosts and guests. I watched online for a few minutes, but testimony was boring. Obviously her 72 hour (or so) evaluation is over. They must feel she is not a threat to herself or others ...... That's debatable ; )
I'm getting a weird & satisfying feeling: Watching everything going on with OJ, Cleveland, "Dr." Kermit, etc., today and then the "news" about arias being transferred back to Estrella, my first reaction was, "Oh. So?" I seriously doubt that this is global, but I'm wondering if now that the trial is over, who cares if the creature gets the DP or LWOP? Her 15 minutes are over, a jury finally got something right; "Dr." Kermit's been found guilty of 3 murders, OJ doesn't stand much of a chance ... maybe, maybe things are starting to look up in terms of justice? Maybe? I think we all took a serious blow with the Casey Anthony verdict ... finally "they" are starting to get it right? I'd like to think so.

Casey Anthony may not be in a traditional prison but she is none the less a prisoner ..... She has no life. She is hated by many. Not the same I know but that's what I try to focus on
I am hoping for the DP particularly because she will be kept in a cell, alone, all day, and will not get a chance to 'socialize' or other fulfilling activities. That is going to be the 2nd most torturistic thing that can happen to her. Yanking pens/pencils/paper out of her hands is 1st.
I heard most are on average on death row for 12 yrs or so. If she gets it, it will be interesting if she will use any appeals, since she would rather die? If she is serious we will never hear from her again, legally anyway, to spare her life. Can wish.....
In AZ it is 12 years (avg) between conviction and execution (that's below the national average of 15 years) In California it's double... close to 30 years of appeals and delays... why bother? 25% of people on death row nationally die of natural causes...

K. after reading that motion, I have a couple of questions. and more confusion.
That motion means she wants any and all information about the witnesses who will be called for Impact statements: Is this part of the trial again like a mini trial? the defense gets to cross examine them? make them LESS credible? they lost a brother ffs, I don't understand.
In the motion it talks of her rights to bring up more information about Travis? she gets to bash him MORE? introduce the fake letters or the nonsense on Geraldo the other night, which, btw, I will never watch. Geraldo is not my favorite "journalist".

The only thing the mitigation could possible be is:
She didn't kill anyone before Travis (that we know of)
She hasn't killed anyone since (other than a few careers)
She has nice glasses (even if they are fake)
She colors as good if not better than most 5 year old (without eating her crayons as far as I know)
She is a fairly good liar (I did say fairly)
She is an excellent manipulator
She has nice hair (has been used as a curtain many times)
That's a few qualities she has going for her
okay. I guess I was under the impression that victim impact statements were read by the victims family to the defendant after they were sentenced. and that was it. done.
