It's atrocious how American prisons are so 'pleasant' for convicted criminals. I wish arias would be sent to a prison that makes a soviet gulag look like a resort. No verdict yet makes me nervous-- hope for the death penalty or lwop.

When Jodi goes to death row, it will be quite spartan. Not quite Devil's Island, but it will not be pleasant. Basically, it is pretty much solitary confinement.

It might be too hot for tv. There would be a mix of Thai cooking, soccer, guitar playing, porn, conspiracy theories, dating misadventures, and jello wrestling. I can't see that being successful at all.

Okay. We have spent varying time together.....following this trial. Some have been here for a long time, others are brand new. Yet, we've become a "family" of sorts. I have gained a respect and familiarity and camaraderie with you all. I wonder how so much blood ended up in the bottom of that shower? According to The Prosecutor, Travis was shot "in the face" (listen to his closing argument, not in the head but in the face), AFTER he was dead. All of his blood was on the carpet and his heart was not beating. Then Jodi dragged him in the shower. And that shower shows quite a bit of congealed blood in the bottom in those photos! There should be almost no blood because all of the wounds happened outside the shower, including him bleeding out all of his blood with the throat slash. He lost so much blood his heart stopped pumping and his gunshot wound did not bleed. So how did he bleed so much after that in shower?

Secondary question for The Prosecutor - Travis was shot in the face? In closing arguments, Martinez said he was shot in the face. Not in the brain. Not in the head. But in the face... reopens the whole argument about Horny's typo and Geffner's testimony.

Prosecutor didn't only say face, at different times he used different verbage. Temple, head, face. Jury won't cherry pick one, they heard them all and saw the photo.

What you want to be "so much blood" isn't all blood but mostly decomp fluids, which were then smeared around while removing the body.

Death row, in Sheriff Joe's system, won't be so pleasant for Jodi. They have only deliberated for one full day (plus an hour and 1/2 on friday), so I am not nervous. It is not always a good thing for them to come back with a verdict too quickly. I predicted they will reach it tomorrow, afternoon. Here's hoping!!

I'm just going by my own jury experience... And we deliberated for 2 days. It ended up hung. I remember walking out of the courthouse those 2 days... We were ALL pissed and walked FAST to our cars. :/

Hi all,
I am new to the site but I am so glad that I found it. I only started watching the trial from when Jodi was on the stand under cross. I stayed away from the trial because of what happened with the CA trial. I didn't want to be vested in the outcome emotionally and then have a such a let down in the system. But my mother has been glued to it and was keeping me updated so I finally just started watching.

I am actually from Yreka, I grew up there and left in 1999. I graduated HS in 1993 and I don't know Jodi but her mother used to be a waitress at a restaurant called "grandmas house" and I know her from there. My mother knows Jodi's grandparents, but not well. Before I moved I was a correctional officer at the jail where Jodi was housed and it is really weird to see it on tv. In fact it is really weird to hear Yreka named on the TV in general. It is a very small and rural town and the nearest city is almost an hour away.

Thanks to everyone for posting here with information, you all really helped catch me up on the trial.
