They said on HLN the jury is not going to resume deliberations until 1O am tomorrow. The jurors looked very somber and serious upon exiting the courthouse.
I wouldn't read too much into that.
I've gotten called for jury duty twice but always get weeded out during the selection process. The last one I found out later was for a child molestation case. I was completely grateful that I got culled out of that one.
I read this thread all the time. I hardly post as it moves so fast. I have to say Sheesh being guy shocked me. For no reason other than I always assumed he was a she when I read his posts. You know why they say not to assume things tho haha.
Damn! Was hoping to come home to a verdict. I has a sad now.

Exactly. Create more noise/circus/hysteria and get more ratings
Me either. It's a serious DP case. I want them to look somber.
Chris and Sky Hughes have several media appearances coming up:
They filmed a new 48 Hours interview on Saturday
They already filmed Inside Edition which will air tonight.
Also, they are appearing on Dr. Drew tonight, as well as Nancy Grace on Tuesday.
I don't really care for Jean. Throughout the whole trial she appeared pro Jodi, even on days when the evidence was so against her. It was like she was watching a completely different trial most of the time. I stopped watching all of them (Trutv when it was still on all day and HLN) early on. All the commentators appear to be talking heads with no opinions of their own, especially Jean.
We won't hold that against you
She his it so well the cops didn't find it when they searched the car. The rental car company found it, taped in into the engine compartment I think? Curious as whether that car was rented in Yreka or in Redding? Was the rental in her mom's name or her name when they arrested her?
Don't has a sad! It means the jury is doing their job (I hope)

Just heard from Dave Hall that whatever Ja did to provoke TA's response on 26th May, 'hurt him more than losing his father'!!! That raises loads of questions for me? I remember his words "I've never been so hurt by anyone" and "you are the worst thing that ever happened to me", but hurting 'more' than losing his father?
COMPLETELY & UTTERLY OFF TOPIC. PREPARE TO IGNORE
No. He is not. Which is sad & weird. It's like owls, you never see a dead one. But this is the 2nd kookaburra dead on the same corner in a year. I'm over 40 & it's the only 2 I've ever seen in my life.
But enough ponderings, you reminded me of the "other" version of that song (kids ALWAYS have another version, yes?). It started with "kookaburra sits on an electric wire.." but I'm damned if I can remember the rest, something about his butt on fire. Unfortunately I just dropped the other 2 off at school, so I have no child experts to ask for help. A word may have changed here or there, but I bet this kookaburra's been tortured in much the same way since at least the 1930's when my Dad learnt it in a tiny school out the back of Coonabarabran. I will ask for the full, current, underground version after 3pm AEST today (which is when most Aus schools knock off)
Followed along all day while I was working. I was starting to get super anxious about how long the jury is taking but then thought about how its been four months of testimony, a ton of exhibits to look at and its the first time they are really able to talk about it. Its only been seven hours. Not long at all really. Im still sticking with my wednesday 3pm AZ time wager.
It's atrocious how American prisons are so 'pleasant' for convicted criminals. I wish arias would be sent to a prison that makes a soviet gulag look like a resort. No verdict yet makes me nervous-- hope for the death penalty or lwop.
Yeah, you're right... maybe they talk amongst themselves, flip a coin & pick who will be for the state & who will lean towards the defense, just to keep things interesting.
And I am glad there are a good mix of femmes & masculines in this thread. We keep each other in check.
Off topic for a sec--- Is there a thread yet for Caryn Kelley accused of shooting & killing her lover Phillip Louis Peatross?
IF not, can someone please start one. Thank you, please![]()

said jurors look like they're at odds with one another.
Please do! I need a good laugh. I welcome all visitor messages: annoying, cute, naughty, controversial, youtube videos. Let it out!
It might be too hot for tv. There would be a mix of Thai cooking, soccer, guitar playing, porn, conspiracy theories, dating misadventures, and jello wrestling. I can't see that being successful at all.
I'm back to thinking about the shower photo.
I wonder how so much blood ended up in the bottom of that shower? According to The Prosecutor, Travis was shot "in the face" (listen to his closing argument, not in the head but in the face), AFTER he was dead. All of his blood was on the carpet and his heart was not beating. Then Jodi dragged him in the shower. And that shower shows quite a bit of congealed blood in the bottom in those photos! There should be almost no blood because all of the wounds happened outside the shower, including him bleeding out all of his blood with the throat slash. He lost so much blood his heart stopped pumping and his gunshot wound did not bleed. So how did he bleed so much after that in shower?
Secondary question for The Prosecutor - Travis was shot in the face? In closing arguments, Martinez said he was shot in the face. Not in the brain. Not in the head. But in the face... reopens the whole argument about Horny's typo and Geffner's testimony.
I agree. It's best to ignore what their "opinions" are, at this point, because they don't know any more than we do, as to what is going on inside deliberations. I have seen juries come back after a couple of hours, or after days, with a verdict. There is no way to predict it. They have a lot of evidence to look at, and a lot of issues to discuss. We just have to stay busy, and be patient.![]()
