Here is a link to the ME's report. Show me where it says the bullet traveled through the brain. Or anything else, diagrams, anything that illustrates the bullet trajectory through the brain. Penetrating the skull does not = penetrating the brain. A bullet can't get to the brain without penetrating the dura. Unless it's a magic bullet.

    So, anyway... boom.

Here is a quote from today. 9:29 in this video...

"So stop pointing a finger at him and stop wagging it as if somehow being a Mormon precludes you from being human. If somehow that's something bad that he did it because she's just as Mormon as he is. So if there's fingers, so if there are fingers to be pointed it should be pointed at the same at each other because if one's conduct is bad then the other is just as bad."

Seriously? That makes Wilmott look like a wordsmith.
If your transcription is accurate, then I concede, those passages are not artfully worded at all. You have a valid point.
    BOOM!

Perhaps I was so mesmerized by his overall presentation, that I mentally put it though the Juan translator and grasped what he was intending to say anyway. JM and I are in synch like that.

(Not sure I would go so far as saying anything makes Jenny look like a wordsmith. Just sayin')

That's very possible, but didn't we also have members here with professional experience say they'd been surprised by the lack of bleeding from gunshot wounds (possibly to the head, but I can't remember for sure & can't be bothered hunting down the post). The woman I saw shot in the head didn't seem to bleed much, although admittedly I was more focused at the time on locking us into our glass fishbowl of an office so he couldn't come after anyone else. There wasn't much left on the pavers in the courtyard after the ambo's took her, so maybe it's true? At least in some cases?
Do you know those nice velvet ropes held up by golden stands outside of red carpet premieres and such? Sometimes banks have them too? Well, when my son was 3, my husband and I went into a bank with these ropes with the 1 year old, 3 year old and 5 year old. My son, aka the monkey, thought the ropes were there to climb on. The stand fell over and hit him in the head. Blood was everywhere. Lots of blood. We took him to the ER and after clean-up, ex-rays and 3 or 4 stitches he was fine. The doctor said "Head wounds bleed a lot."
P.S. We called him the monkey for no other reason than that he climbed everything and anything like a monkey. Eg. hallway walls were scaled to the ceiling. Happy to say he's 27 now and settled down.

You are absolutely correct. My sister and her hubby were hit by a drunk driver on New Years and his head broke the passenger side window. He had a huge gash in his head and it was pouring out blood in copious amounts. My sister thought he was going to die, but he was ok. There is no way in HELL that Jodi "accidentally" shot Travis and he was on top of her wrestling with her and she didn't notice he was shot in the head.

I'm way behind as usual. Her younger brother was there today. I did not see the older brother, tho I saw that you pointed him out earlier.

Have you heard if any site will do text alerts via cell when verdict is in? I would hate to miss it.

Last Friday my ex-sister in law was shot in the head by her brother in Troy, Alabama. Her brother is being charged with felony murder. They're are calling it a case of domestic violence. This trial is especially emotional for me right now due to these recent events. There are some weird family issues due to a couple divorces and information is difficult to get. I have not talked to her in about 10yrs and I'm feeling badly over not keeping in touch.

    First page, love:

Gun shot wound of head, without exit:

    A. Gunshot wound of entrance, right forehead, indeterminate range
    B. Perforation of inferior skull base, anterior fossa, and facial skeleton
    C. No gunshot wound exit
    D. Small caliber deformed projectile recovered from left cheek
    E. Wound trajectory: right to left and downwards

    ----

    Read it and weep.

In case there is still confusion:

    per?fo?ra?tion
    [pur-fuh-rey-shuhn] Show IPA
    noun
    1. a hole, or one of a series of holes, bored or punched through something, as those between individual postage stamps of a sheet to facilitate separation.
    2. a hole made or passing through a thing.
    3. the act of perforating.
    4. the condition or state of being perforated.
    ----

In other words, the skull was perforated, the bullet entered the anterior fossa where the frontal lobes rest, and went through the facial bones, where the bullet finally came to rest in his cheek.

There is a hole in Travis's skull.

    The end.

    But again, nice try.

    Double posting!

Also, if you look at the likely path of the bullet, Travis's sinuses were likely filling with blood, so he would have probably coughed some up almost immediately, since the bullet ended up traveling through his face, tearing up soft tissue on its journey.

It's possible that he didn't bleed a ton externally from the gunshot wound (maybe an effect of the heat of the bullet cauterizing the wound a little), but there would have been a lot of blood in the head and face from the damage. As there was little to no extra blood found in the face or brain, it is unlikely that Travis was even alive when he was shot.

I missed everything today. So, I'm stuck watching NG's cuts. Who was sitting in front of Sandy Arias crying? Did they let people sit inside the well?

I don't think he was alive when she shot him. I was saying if he was alive when she shot him, he would have bled a lot. Even if he didnt bleed a lot after he was shot she still couldn't have noticed the HOLE IN HIS HEAD!

Makes me wonder what her obsession with the death photos really are. I think she sees them and feels satisfaction that she did the right thing, in her twisted evil mind.

She beat Travis. He's dead, and she's alive...and their names are forever entwined despite his best efforts to cut her off. I do think she's proud. And I think she can't help but want to see him dead.

    Wanna bet?
I'll bet he'll tie that up! What I heard today seemed to be focused primarily on solidifying premeditation. Now the defense will flounder, slandering the true victim in an attempt at self-defense!? After they're done JM will put the icing on the cake.

I'm only seeking justice. I didn't know either of them. I've heard a lot more than the jury, but she went there to fucking kill him.

I was just watching the rerun of Dr. Drew ( I know, I know) but Abe was on again and I just have a difficult time taking him seriously. Tonight he was upset because he thinks that murder defendants in the future are going to take a page out of Stabby's book and act arrogant. Something about how Stabby will have such a huge influence on murder defendants and that her excuse-making will be permiating our justice system.
Someone needs to expain that defendants have been using victim defamation and "poor me because my shit childhood" defenses for decades.

Note to Abe.... Look up some trial history son and realize that no one is going to remember Jodi Arias because her defense is a failure and she won't get off.

Seriously.... He needs an MDS account to read up on what others think before be opens his mouth!

I apologize for fucking that up earlier. Crickets, I'll bet that JM will go over it if the D team does! I believe JM has planned to bring that up in his final argument purposefully, knowing he can tailor his response to whichever lie the defense chooses.

It states that there is no apparent wound to the brain and indicates that the brain was in a state of decomposure. Why does that not compute?

Well, the ex-roommate's mom didn't say Jodi was getting paid, so potentially just ho-ing.

This has probably come up already but I wonder is the horrible betrayal Jodi did to Travis that he texted her about on May 26 was she told him or played sex tape and she was going to use it for some sort of blackmail.

I like Dr Drew's show the best of all the HLN shows covering this. My favorite part is when they play the compiled highlights for the day and show those hysterical speech bubbles.
