Well....... she is smarter than everyone else because in all of those police tapes she was insisting she was innocent, even when "the ninjas" entered her story............. see she's so smart, she fooled em all......... and it's on tape to prove it, thanks to stabby Einstein!![]()
no, i just asked my dad - he always does jury duty, and they can ask to see evidence pics and has transcripts of testimony. its just things like physical evidence, like travis' camera, cuz they don't want jury to do their own experiments or ruin evidence that may need to be used later, but they can get the rest that is presented in court
The only channel that bothers with the trial here is HLN. They are ridiculous, I figured that out during the Tot Mom days. It's 7:30 here when trial is over and it goes right into JVM, sometimes I get hooked in. Wednesday is Survivor night, so that's where I go, no matter what is happening in Jodieland.
Tonight was funny though. The guy from the Enquirer was on Dr. Drew, after NG, I guess. Even he didn't believe Jodie's story. Someone here already said something about the most sensible person on the show was the guy from the Enquirer. Abe A. was on too. It looks like he's fitting right in with the talking heads. He may be around for awhile.
if Jodie's writing a book, do you think it's the "journal" she claimed was taken from her cell?
I don't know.....I keep on thinking that, in the course of a couple of weeks, she could be on death row. She might want to focus her attention on how to convince the judge to spare her life, rather than devoting time to writing a memoir for her "fans"?? She is such a dimwit.
Jodi was mirandized, several times I believe. The jury has seen some of the police tapes. You can catch up with all the trial videos here

There's no sidebars, so it goes fast.
What's prejudicial is the stuff that wasn't proven to be her. Like the tire slashing and other stalking she did. They know about her ninja story.
coconut - you need to call your gf juror katie - she couldn't get into court today and seemed very sad on dr drew - it might hurt her career advancement![]()
I think she's been getting the idea the last couple of days. When I first saw her today, I told my husband, "She knows her goose is cooked." (To which he replied, "I didn't know they let her cook in jail.")
I suppose she'll have plenty of time on death row to work on her appeal. In fact, it will probably be the highlight of what's left with her miserable life.
Good for you. I definitely agree with this!
I seriously laughed.
I'm glad that some of her lies were caught today! I can't went for the sentence...CANNOT wait!
Also, I've read through this (I refuse to watch NG) and read that JA is saying that she was pregnant with his baby and miscarried? She's full of fucking shit. She would've said this on the stand to get more sympathy. She shouldn't be allowed to write a book. Why should a criminal get such privileges? Gross.
And TA had sexual feelings about the movie Psycho? WTF? This bitch be cray. I just can't about that one.
Usually I don't let myself get emotionally invested in this shit, but I'm already in a fucking bad mood and the fact that she is so confident that she will get off scott free for MURDER is pissing me the fuck off. What makes her so special that she doesn't have to experience consequences for her actions? So much entitlement...I wouldn't piss on her if she were on fire. This is getting to be ridiculously disgusting. I'm glad it's over soon.
I've served on a jury only once which involved several felonies (but not M1), we were told by the judge we would not be able to see the evidence again (videos), we were provided note pads and pens by the court. Maybe every case is different? or some laws have changed since 1999.......... ha ha ha ha......
When I was on jury, if we had a question about something, they would read us that part of the transcript. We didn't have the whole transcript to look through. If they want to see a video that was played in court, I think they would play it for them. They just don't get everything to look at, at will, only specifics they ask for.
It is all over for Stabby! Who really knows what she is thinking, but I, too, believe that the reality of sentencing might be seeping in.
If the jury convicts on M1, the penalty phase will be very interesting. I am curious who will step up to speak on her behalf.
I am fading fast.......so, goodnight, my friends! You are all ahMAYzing!! XOXO
What we can expect in the following week/s.
FIRST-DEGREE MURDER :
If the jurors unanimously decide Arias is guilty of first-degree murder, the case would then move to the aggravation phase.
That is the prosecution's chance to present additional evidence that the death was caused in a cruel manner. Arizona law defines it as when the victim suffers physical pain or mental anguish and the defendant knew or should have known that the victim would suffer.
The jury would then deliberate for a second time to determine if the aggravating factor of cruelty is proven beyond a reasonable doubt.

Girl, I agree with you. I just don't get how she's allowed to just sit there and color or whatever the fuck she's doing and not pay attention. And drawing pictures of his sisters? God. If I saw her in public I'd straight deck her in the face, and I don't feel that way about many people.
I forgot to mention that I think the jury will deliberate for 2 days and her verdict will be murder 1. I don't think she'll get the DP. If she gets off with manslaughter I swear to God I will lose my shit.
The defense team after court, did not see any security detail. Jen has her heels off and flip-flops on.
While we did not get into the courtroom today, it was still worthwhile! All but nine of us got in, two Canadians left, and seven of us stayed in the waiting area and tried to watch our devices (not too successfully so I will watch later) and chatted. we were next to a young couple fresh out of med school, from MI. they have two months until internships (one a surgeon, the girl a psychiatrist) in MA, so came here to see the trial. Cane Lady did not get in either, and Katy Wick was not there but I saw she was on Dr. Drew just now. We saw the grandma in a wheelchair, and the guy that sits next to Mrs. Arias is very tall.
Saw Juan and Estephan a few times in passing! Took a pic of my friend with Beth Caras outside, she is very approachable.
above is the catwalk between courthouses, and Steven talking to Beth Caras.

I agree with most, but it got me to thinking & I've got a feeling she's probably doing that partial truth thing again, rather than outright lying. I think she really would've been missing him - but not in the way most people "miss" someone. It's more likely it was that same intense, twisted stalking way that she'd missed him since her move. The obsession wouldn't end just because his life had. I suspect she'd have felt an ownership of the situation she created & she must've been bursting out of her skin for any & every snippet of information afterwards. She probably expected his friends & family to allow her the acceptance after his death that she'd been denied during his life. You know, kind of "oh poor tragic Jodi, she must be devastated, we'd better not be mean to her anymore, because it must be so much worse for Jodi than it is for us".
It would've been maddening to find herself denied access to the drama of it all - because it was HER drama! Not theirs. Maybe that's why she sent the irises(?) to his grandmother. Win over the matriarch, gain access to the inner circle & therefore firsthand knowledge of everything Travis. I don't doubt she was almost climbing the walls with desperation to KNOW. Because in her eyes the right to know & be involved belonged more to HER than some bunch of people who just happened to be "related" or "friends". I think at least some was written from a perspective like -how dare they think they have more right to him than she did, especially after all she'd been through because of him.
Wow the courthouse looks really pretty from the outside. I'm sure it's weird for Travis' family to be so close to the end of this trial. I can't even imagine...
