I have been thinking of other ways that the murder could have gone down.

The camera was the "key" to opening the shower door -- otherwise he would have been startled. It was a right-handed camera, but Jodi is left-handed,

So I could see her coaxing Travis into playing out the Psycho scene, even exposing his chest for her to hold the knife against to capture in a picture ... but instead she stabs as hard as she can.

Jodi used a cup found in the shower to splash water around to clean up the blood. JM mentioned the bottom of storage boxes being soaked through with water. So the blood trail was incomplete. There had been more blood from the shower to the hall than was found.

I'd go for that, if he wasn't so terrified of her- and telling people that she might kill him. Somehow, I don't think Travis would want to play with weapons with Jodi.

He's now got what he wants right there, Jodi placing herself at the scene of the crime. Flores, the DA et al, will hope she runs with this story as they're armed with damning evidence and this new farcical scenario, a scenario they hope would be a no-brainer for any Jury. Her best bet would have been pleading insanity from the off. JMO.

Well, my 30 pound 3 year old knocks shelves like that over all the time at my house, because he puts weight on the front... even when they are loaded in the back with items. All TA had on thsoe shelves was clothes - surely that isn't enough to balance out 130 pounds of woman tipping it from the front? I'm not understanding the confusion here. That picture clearly shows that weight on the front of the shelves would tip them, and items would fall to the floor. That's the whole point of this, nothing was disturbed in the closet - at all.

When mine were little and would get up and go out in the living room when me and the hubby were sleeping, I had to put little pieces of candy on the low shelves so they would try to climb up them. It worked. That always scared me so bad.

Not disagreeing with your statements. Can't find fault with any of them. But as someone from the other side of the globe, I've got a question about the huge number of scathing reviews of the defense team's performance. A subject that comes up a lot are potential appeal options for Jodi. One of those frequently mentioned is ineffective counsel. I've only got the vaguest idea of what is/isn't allowable, but I was wondering about a couple of things.

This trials really broken new ground with the level of attention & social media commentary. I really think that if Travis hadn't dated Deanna, the prosecution may not have found a witness to testify in her place. Strength like her's is a rare thing sadly. Closed court, even regular proceedings are hard enough, & when the testimony is graphic & personal it's worse still. There is no way the social media frenzy over this trial is not going to influence the decisions of some witnesses to testify now & in the future. But that's a whole different conversation.

What I was wondering is that given the involvement of so many forms of social media & the constant 24/7 analysis of & commentary on every act & every gesture of anyone associated with the trial, is it possible Jodi could look to social media to support (or build) an argument for ineffective counsel? Could her supporters go to pro-Travis comment pages & use the mountain of attacks on her defense team for mistakes, omissions, unprofessionalism & general stupidity? Could she end up using even support for Travis & the hate & contempt people feel for her, to her advantage? Because that would completely suck.
