Ugh...Travis should have married Deanna Reid. She was great on the stand, even answering those awkward questions. You can tell that she really cared about him.

Sorry, but Holy fuck. Spam much?

Anyway, the WalMart testimony and subsequent inability for the defense team to counter was terrific.

Nurmi is weird & creepy as shit, and his line of questioning for Deanna was repulsive. The entire defense team lacks an ounce of class.

Jodi Arias is completely fucked. Good.
one can hope... it is so obvious to us; I just hope the jury isn't suckered :(

I have to assume police investigated that as a point of entry and then dismissed it. Why? No evidence like fingerprints or fibers on the window sill that would've been left in crawling over/in?

Would she take the chance of crawling through the window -- and probably over furniture, when she had the garage key code, or had been known to crawl through the doggie door? How did she know he wouldn't be in there, in daytime?

I'm open to different theories, but none of that article made sense to me. And it was all presented as if it was fact.

Deanna was a very personal witness and she did a good job for Travis on the stand yesterday. I am impressed. It's a shame they didn't work it out.

For those interested, I found this on another site. It's the eulogy Deanna read at Travis funeral. It will make you cry.

I don't believe she sneaked into his house. IMO, the sexual pictures prove that. I believe she got there at 3:30 or 4 am like she said-and the reason I believe that, Jodi would not have known that Travis was watching the youtube videos if she wasn't there when he was. So I do believe that part of her story.

It is possible that before she left after killing him, she pushed the screen out of the window to make it look like a break in or something. Or it's possible that the screen is defected. I have one that always pops out.

It felt great moving through a whole bunch of witnesses yesterday. It probably felt great for the jury too. Especially after 3 months of testimony with only 3 witnesses. The whole thought of Nurmi getting a Sur rebuttal with more witnesses is enough to make me want to throw my hands up and scream.

I'm watching "48 Hours: Hard Evidence. Casey Anthony: Judgement Day. I will be sick, but not surprised, if Jodi gets less than M1 or even if she gets off. It iis just so disgusting, but completely possible, given the stupid garbage that has and is going on in this trial. just makes me sad and sick.

Travis had a tragic life, but he's no longer in pain and I hope in peace. The true victims right now, are the people whose brother was viciously, savagely murdered in a most gruesome way. They have to live with this. They have to live with those murder pictures. They are going to miss him every single holiday, his birthday, his death day, sibling marriages, births, ect ect...Jodi stole those moments from Travis, and she stole those moments from Travis. They have to live with the gruesome playbacks of what may have happened that day. If anyone deserves the diagnosis of (PTSD), it would be the family. They will ache every day for the rest of their lives. Jodi caused her own PTSD. My heart breaks for these sisters and brother(')s who sit there in that courtroom day after day, reliving this. They did nothing to deserve this, and neither did Travis. These pics make me ache inside for them. I have lost many people in my life, but I can't even fathom the horror that Travis went though that day, and the nightmare his family will never go away.
    THIS!

sooooooooo, what do you think she said/did, after the vitriolic text/arguement, to get him to let her in? I can understand it somewhat..I've been a party to some scathing exchanges but....... I just don't understand HOW things unfolded........?????

This is just my opinion, but apologies and the promise of make up sex. I'm sure Jodi was very good at apologizing and coming up with a good excuse for her actions. Maybe she fed him some BS story about how she needed to see him one last time before she moved on with her life. Plus, she wrote him the check for his car. I'm sure she was very convincing with whatever story she came up with. She seemed to be very good at playing the prefect friend/girlfriend to all the men in her life. That's why I think the word manipulative has been used so much in this trial when describing her.

Jodi made Travis think they were playing on the same field with each other. Jodi made him think she was okay with the whole "friends with benefits" act. In reality, Jodi was scheming for something more from Travis. She thought she could change him and make him love her enough to marry. Girls are always more attractive to the guys that are hard to catch. That's why Jodi was attracted to Travis, IMO. He was the known single guy that had so much going for him. Travis sounds like he was very Rico Suave with the ladies. Sounds like he was having fun until the "right" girl came along for him. Nothing wrong with that. Sadly, I don't think Travis realized how severly lacking Jodi was mentally and how strongly she felt about him. They say there is a thin line between love and hate. IMO, I believe Jodi crossed that line in May when she realized she would never be the one.

Any ideas on what we may expect today?

    More rebuttal witnesses from prosecution?
    Sur-rebuttal from defense?
    Closing statements?
Followed by quick deliberation and guilty verdict? (I can dream, right?)

I am thinking court was delayed till 1:30 today so that Juan can fly in a surprise witness? I hear buzz about a bank fraud investigator being in the line-up for today.

Speculating here - but maybe the missing link that prompted that long text message from Travis was because he discovered she hacked his bank account? It would make sense.

I wouldn't put it past her either. I would love to hear more details as to exactly which "scam" Travis was referring to in that email. The hacking and invading of social accounts? Hacking his bank account? Recording the sex tape without his knowledge and then threatening to use it against him? Something we know nothing about?

    Enquiring minds want to know.

IF this one witness is in fact the Fraud Prevention expert from JP Morgan Chase, well, they should be able to tell if his account was accessed by someone other than Travis.

I think they could possibly have done the same thing with Jodi. IF this is what it's about, then they can confirm that withdrawals or transfers or whatever were attempted from a location other than Mesa, when Travis was known to be in Mesa. In a case like this, I think they could probably just flat-out say that the account was accessed from say, Yreka, because this is in an actual court of law. I would think that legally, they could be compelled to reveal that info.
That would be SO delicious, if they had some kind of proof. However, it would also be highly prejudicial, unless they could show it actually came from Jodi and not just somewhere in Yreka.

I was trying to think of what info from Jodi's account could be helpful to the prosecution. One thing that came to mind was the whole "I had lots of overdraft fees because of Travis borrowing money". If they could show that was made up, either because there were no fees or because there was no check or cash withdrawal (indicating a loan) around that time, then I suppose it could be used to show that she made up lies even in her journal?

The questions at the end were disgusting and gratuitous. I felt bad that a nice girl like Deanna was being asked those questions. However, I am hopeful the jury felt the same way, and that Nurmi even asking the questions harmed rather than helped Jodi.

Well, to be fair, the DT might well have tried to get her to behave differently. However, they can't make her do so, and if Jodi can't or won't comply, there isn't much they can do about it.

I thought that article had some entertainment value, but not much else. It just seems way out there. But, remember, the writer's argument is that the naked photos were taken at another time and for some reason Jodi put them on Travis' camera -- for some reason.

That's part of what I find hilarious. In order to make the "Jodi sneaked in the window" argument, they have to claim the photos were from another day.

The only thing I would disagree with you about is that I don't think Travis knew she was coming. They had that big argument on the 26th. And though I have not seen it confirmed officially, I've seen it said here and other places that Travis only communicated with her 2 times between the 26th and June 2nd; and that he didn't communicate with her at all on the 3rd.

Travis being Travis, I think that, even if he wasn't real thrilled at the idea of her visiting, would probably have checked in with her, being that it's a long drive and she would be traveling at night.

Wasn't there a claim that someone -- a roommate? -- said that Travis hadn't slept that night and that he was worried about something? That same person said Travis didn't know that Travis knew Jodi was coming until she turned up on his doorstep.

I'll have to find the info, so we can see whether it's possibly already been debunked, but I remember something to that effect. Either way, I really do think that Jodi wouldn't have wanted to tell Travis first, for 2 reasons.

    1. She didn't want him to tell her no, don't come. He could've locked the door and kept her out if he knew she was on her way. He could've left the house. This way, he had no choice but to deal with her if she turned up standing behind him in his office.

    2. I think she didn't want to risk Travis telling anyone that she would be in town. She did a lot of premeditated things to create alibis and cover her tracks, I think she would not have mentioned the trip to Travis, in case he would remark to one of his friends -- or at least his roommates -- that she was coming over.

Smart. I wouldn't either, there's some total fucktards lurking around.

The one reporter guy for the Arizona Republic claims that Det. Flores will be back on the stand today, to testify about the shelves in Travis' closet. But I'll believe it when I see it.

I don't think Travis knew Jodi was coming. I think she just showed up. So I do agree with you on that.

Speculating here - but maybe the missing link that prompted that long text message from Travis was because he discovered she hacked his bank account? It would make sense.

also speculating: if this were true, she could have usedgiving him a check as her excuse for showing up there. Wanting to pay him in person?

I was trying to think of what info from Jodi's account could be helpful to the prosecution. One thing that came to mind was the whole "I had lots of overdraft fees because of Travis borrowing money". If they could show that was made up, either because there were no fees or because there was no check or cash withdrawal (indicating a loan) around that time, then I suppose it could be used to show that she made up lies even in her journal?

Most people write in a journal to purge their innermost thoughts. Jodi lied throughout her journal. Who fucking does that? Remember how she went on and on about missing Travis and nobody will tell her what happened; how could this have happened and all that bullshit? Perhaps she was covering her tracks, but a lie is a lie is a lie and that's all that bitch knows how to do. I wouldn't believe her if she said the sky was blue and the grass was green. I hope the jury throws out everything that came out of her mouth. Yeah, it was 18 days of their lives that they'll never get back, but it's all one gigantic fucking lie. If they throw out the "expert" testimony, they have nothing left but premeditation. Give 'er the needle STAT.

Agree with you and NCB, he didn't know she was turning up and I also agree that she went there as a last goodbye. Some of the the theories I've seen have been completely off the wall including the fact that he didn't know she was taking photos, I'm sure he did know.

Yes, I think this is how she approached it.

I think she faked up those journal entries. Which means her premeditation could have gone back much further than we think.
