i guess nurmo lost that one![]()
Thanks for the screenshots everyone! I have to think, looking at that, that since the shelve above it is the same style, the shelf she claims to have stepped on would've flipped up and possible knocked the second shelf off too, or at least titled it enough to spill or mess-up the clothing.

Finally we get a defense guest on HLN say those shelves and the tipping is powerful for the prosecution!!!!!
plus she stepped on the shelf AND grabbed onto another in order to boost herself up. None of the shelves were disheveled.![]()

Whoever said that Flores has a big mouth; he stopped Stabby in interrogation from saying "Travis never ab.....he stopped her. He should have let her go on and on.
Exactly, her body weight, PLUS the momentum for jumping up on a shelf in a hurry.
I have shelves like that in my closet and I broke one by delicately putting my weight on it to reach something up top. I’m 5’ 7” and I weighed maybe 5 lbs more than Jodi at the time. My shelves in that area are screwed into the unit though, and they still broke! (I would have never even considered stepping on the shelves that have just pins to support them…no way!) Needless to say, I now always use my step stool…
The dust issue is a non-factor. Why would they have looked for a dust mark from a gun that was never mentioned until years later?! At the time when they found Travis they would have had no reason to spend much time in the closet, much less look in the back corner of the top shelf for a dust ring from a gun that was never there (and she didn’t claim the gun until years later, making the point moot)
And, with the forward momentum and reaching backward to the back upper corner, if the shelf tipped on her, she probably would have bashed her face right into the other shelves...
Can anyone tell me if the judge denied sir-rebuttal?
Well, my 30 pound 3 year old knocks shelves like that over all the time at my house, because he puts weight on the front... even when they are loaded in the back with items. All TA had on thsoe shelves was clothes - surely that isn't enough to balance out 130 pounds of woman tipping it from the front? I'm not understanding the confusion here. That picture clearly shows that weight on the front of the shelves would tip them, and items would fall to the floor. That's the whole point of this, nothing was disturbed in the closet - at all.

Can someone please recap the timeline the judge gave the jury for ending the trial? Thanks.
