Actually it was pretty clever. Jury can't unhear something even if it's sustained. All lawyers do it. JM been sustained himself. :)

I just heard HLN say that sur-rebuttal has yet to be decided by the judge!

Can someone please screencap the picture that was missed, it never did show up on my stream though others are saying they just saw it. Thanks.

Not the same at all, the jury isn't stupid. This is the most disappointing thing I've seen JM try.

If she had stepped on that shelf, tipping it, she would have been slowed way down by stumbling over the clothes spilled.

Her toes wouldn't have been the only weight applied to the shelf. They may have been the only part of her body to contact the shelf (if this had actually happened ), but her toes would've been carrying the weight of whatever pressure she applied against the shelf, to boost herself.

I am pretty sure that the judge was firm on her announcement to the jury as to the timeline the trial will be following. No sur-rebuttal.

It isn't the same, you're right - Flores was much more delicate than a woman frantically searching for a weapon on a shelf she had to jump up to get to. Any weight at all would have those things crashing down.

It looks like Detective Flores pulled that shelf out a bit before snapping that pic - the way you can see the bare wood at the corner . . . for effect. Maybe that's why it wasn't up there for long. I hate Jodi though.

Yes. She would have put 130 lbs of weight on the shelf. More than what Det. Flores put on with his hand

it isn't about delicate, its about point of the weight and distribution.

Maybe we are misinterurpting what the picture shows. It proves - to me - that had JA stepped on the shelf the contents would have spilled to the floor.

We know that did not happen by the evidence photos.
