Gee, weren't those "followers" lucky to get a booth directly across from them in a PUBLIC restaurant?

Does anyone else see a trend here of Jodi's jailhouse friends & scam artists running her various profit centers; from Donavan Bering running her Twitter and Sherri Tanner her artwork PayPal and criminals like Simon Johansson running her donation website?

Sounded like he went out to dinner and / or a drink with Jeff Gold, and whatever this happening was, occured on his way back to his office. That suggests it isn't formally any court issue
Happy Friday, WT! Did you see the latest post with the WAT tweet? It sounds like perhaps someone did approach him officially? Since he refuses to talk about it. Not that I blame him. He seems to be suggesting that if he talks about what happened, that it could be more Nurmi fodder for another mistrial claim.

Do you think it's actually that serious? Or do you think WAT is just exercising an abundance of caution? I also have to wonder if WAT was specifically targeted by the defense -- if that is what he is suggesting -- because of the fact that not only did he tweet/take the picture, but also because he is in court every day? I think they don't like court-watchers being unofficial media-folk; like how they tried to go after Dr. Drew Juror Katie as well.

I certainly don't want to see WAT targeted by the defense; nor do I want to see them trial and use him for another mistrial claim, so I can be content with him not talking for the time being. It just seems SO ridiculous on the defense part though. Heaven forbid that someone in a pubic place has their picture taken and posted on the internet! If they didn't want to be seen, they should've ordered take-out!

I think it's because WildAboutTrial is a daily courtroom watcher maybe? If it was just a random person posting, they may not have raised a fuss, but they are trying so damn hard to claim a mistrial, that anyone who is even remotely linked to that courtroom seems to be fair game among the defense team.

That's probably where she disconnected from her Dad, cuz she was close to him as a little girl, someone said. Idk, maybe Dad only went along with turning her in cuz Mom knew about the pot too? Who knows...

I know you're being sympathetic to people in a tough situation, but it's just not practical to put their feelings ahead of justice.

    1. Travis's family history is true
    2. Travis's family issues did contribute to his behavior, positive and negative
    3. Travis had issues with his relationships, and LaViolette is an expert on relationships and abuse
    4. Our justice system allows for accused people to mount a defense

Her answer was completely relevant, appropriate, and based in fact. You may not like it but she has every right to offer that opinion.

Would you prefer if she said "I'd love to answer that question, but it would hurt Tanisha's feelings so I won't say anything"?

I absolutely was not putting "their feelings ahead of justice"...sorry you took it that way....I was just stating an observation/feeling that I had....I did not say that she should not have testified to what her belief was because his family was there....please don't put words in my mouth

Jingles pointed this out to me. I should'a been more careful and mentioned that Travis was part of the wrestling team in high school. That's right up there with baseball or maybe softball as a pretty healthy teen age activity.

AnnieBelle described her walk by the Zoo the other day and watching the chickens scratching in the manure for those tidbits that chickens like. They won't find any nourishment in the pile that Alyce has dumped on that courtroom floor. It's pure shit. Nothing in there to sustain any life form as we may know it. There, I said it.

    Alyce's Answer:

Sure! Uhm! When you grow up in the family that you grow up in, uhm, it's not just what's dealt to you, it's the way that you see what's dealt to you and anybody who has children or who has siblings knows that you---you know all of your siblings can see things differently, so, for instance, if you have an accessible adult that you can really count on--like you have a friend's parent or an aunt or an uncle or a grandparent that...that is there for you on a regular basis...uhm...that can change. Your personality, the way you take things in, if you blame yourself...uh...or you blame the parent or if you're able to see clear of that situation. If there's a community that's set up where you have--maybe you're in a scouting troop or if you go to a church or maybe, you know, are part of ..uh.. a softball team or a baseball team--somewhere where you get positive things--that can have an impact, but generally, most kids their brain development is exponential from zero to six. So most kids learn a lot about who they are between zero to six, not that we don't keep learning but...but you know your disposition, how you come out, your personality affects how you take things in. So there's a lot of things that can make a difference. The problem is that when you learn a lot of negative things in your family of origin--if you're neglected, if you're without food, if your parents are violent with each other, that, generally speaking, you're gonna' need some intervention to just help you in intimate relationships because you don't learn what you don't see and you don't have exposure to you--you know--even if you're a strong personality.

Wow! There's way too much in there to comment on fully, but how about just this. At the age of eight, Travis 'switched' his 'family of origin' and went to live with his grandparents and for the next few years he was an easy boy to raise and by the age of 15, he seems to have learned how to be a good kid and was well on his way to finishing high-school, joining the Mormon Church.

During Jodi Arias's parallel years, she bashed her brother on the head with a baseball bat, kicked the shit out of the family dog and drove it away, learned to grow pot in her Mom's Tupperware on the roof, hit and kicked her mother and, at 15, gave Clinton a BJ, and was well on her way to being a Grade 11 dropout and leaving home to shack up with Bobby Juarez.

Exactly which one of them was it who passed those years growing into Alyce's profile of an adult abuser? And what was it that Alyce said about intimate relations?

Coming out? Metis or ImBatman have to talk to us more about 'Countertransference,' or whatever.

    Geez! Help!

Alyce wants to have it both ways, have her cake and eat it too along with every other cliche we can up with. I'm waiting for a Juror to ask her if her glasses are "rose colored" when it comes to Stabby

Where Alyce,JW and Disco Donna were discussing the case loud enough to be overheard. Dumb just doesn't them justice.

one correction: AL appears anything but an expert and appears to have some severe issues of her own. Experts don't need hand holding by elementary school friends while testifying. Experts at least know to bring their damn glasses up to the stand. Experts have a vocabulary to match their field.

I thought we were supposed to get started at 9:00 PST?
I'm not seeing any WAT updates about this case. I guess I shouldn't have expected them to start on time but we're only going til 12:00 today.

Remember that disgusting, heartless comment Jodi Arias made on '48 Hours' when she was describing what she was thinking when she was about to booked for 1st degree murder and have her mug shot taken? She invoked the good name of Travis Alexander and said she thought of what he would say as she embarked upon her journey to be proven innocent. "I'm just going to do what Travis would want me to do, (smirk, smirk): Just smile and say cheese."

Think she taught her art dealer?

Brilliant observation! Also, if you really read through her response to this question, it's like ??? What the hell are you actually saying woman?

Here's a load of psycho babble that I've read, that is completely unrelated to this case! I'm now going to through at you, just to add more insult to your intelligence, and see what sticks!

I didn't get that impression at all. Someone asked if he would be the next mistrial. He answered no. that to me meant it had nothing to do with anything that could even be used for one.
"On the way back to the office" is the clue I think. He wasn't in court, it was after court hours so I don't suspect it was that important. However, I am 'biased' lol I absolutey can't stand when someone plays 'I know something you don't know and I'm not going to tell you' juvenile game. He needs to go back to grade school with that shit, he lost respect on my list with it.
