I have a feeling that, at some point, JM is going to show one or more of the autopsy photos of Travis....and challenge Alyce as to whether or not THOSE wounds speak of who the victim of DV actually was. Maybe that is why the family went into chambers, earlier....maybe why they are more weepy. I'm betting that JM would have warned them to expect this, as opposed to the last time when he just flashed one and the family didn't seem to have any idea. ALV is SUCH a fraud!

That family is stressed way beyond our imagination. We are stressed and we are only watching it via some electronic device!!!!

If she were sobbing, loudly, and causing distractions, that would be a totally different issue. But tears from the family of the victim is to be expected and is totally normal. Notice the boxes of tissues scattered around the courtroom. This must be HORRIBLE for his family members to have to listen to this shit testimony. I still have a feeling that JM is going to be making some graphic points, and the judge probably wants to make sure the DT does not cause any issues, as he has every right to ask that line of questioning with this particular witness. After all, that is what she specializes in and was retained for (as she has reminded us, about a billion times)....if she can look at that throat slash, at the horrific head and back and chest wounds, and STILL state that Jodi was the one who was abused, JM will have won, BIG time!

Im gonna comment on Alyce even though I got 4 more pages to read. Here's how I am viewing Alyce.

You may remember the testimony regarding Alyce's apology to JA for reading her most personal private journals. She apologized after spending about 7 hours reviewing written materials but before she met JA. When she was pressed to explain why she apologized she fumbled around saying the journals were sort of sancroscant like reading her daughter's journal. Once she said that her facial expression changed dramatically as if to say "oh shit, did I really say that?" As her testimony continues she gives reasons for her opinion based upon having adult children - from the perspective of being a mother. This tells me Alyce is having countertransference with Jodi.

Countertransference is a psychological phenomenon in which the therapist has feelings about their client based upon the therapist's life history and clouds the judgement. Alyce is acting and evaluating Jodi as she would her own daughter. This could very well be due to Jodi reading Alyce and sensing she has issues surrounding her daughter. Jodi in turn would work that weakness. Alyce entered this case influenced by something other than JA and the truth of the matter. I dont think it is about money or fame...its about her own personal needs and emotions.

The family and the state had a pretty clear idea that Stabby was going to go scorched earth on TA and anyone remotely connected to him.

Still doesn't make it any easier.

Just an 'experience' guess, but I'd suspect it might have been having to listen to the 'fear' factors her loved one suffered. Maybe it's my own personal cloud seeing that but even the thoughts years later out of an entire nightmare, how 'scared' a loved one was are extremely dificult to deal with.

I have no idea. It's probably hard hearing that he said he was extremely afraid of Jodi. Knowing what she did to him, it probably makes her very sad for what he went through.

No, I don't think so. More like the fiasco of this witness testifying. Probably next time your witness pisses of the court she will be held in contempt or fined, she'd most likely do this out of the presence of the jury and the public.

I think that is giving her too much credit. She hates men. Plain and simple. She will believe a woman over a man any day even when the evidence suggests otherwise. I dont think she is transferring feelings for her daughter towards Jodi, I think it is simply a hate for men. JMO!

Just now, when JM lost it again, raising his voice, JW objected and voiced 'the prosecutors tone" . Approach. JM comes back with calm lowered voice.
That is what the record will show so you can bet, coming back lowered voice, JM was admonished and.. to JWs delight, it is now part of the record.

I think she is complaisant in this. She is a grown woman with "over 35 years" worth of experience. She agreed to be blinded. It made it easier for her to be biased. I think she didn't want to see anything that would make it more difficult for her to see Jodi as a victim.

Agree, I didn't imply I thought it would, just noted it as an event that occured. I can't think of the name of the case, but remember the one where the female attorney did the stabbing bed demo? There was a time in that same trial, the prosecutor was right up at the witness stand, next to the defendant and literally pounding on the witness desk.

As if Jodi behaving like a child is a good thing??? Also, Jodi is not just off in la la land drawing. She is CONSTANTLY whispering in Willmott's ear and trying to inject herself into an attorney's role. I think in her narcissistic mind she really believes she is a better attorney than Willmott. She feels the need to tell Willmott when to object and mouths things all the time. If I were Willmott, I'd tell Jodi to STFU and quit distracting me.
