I think he means what he said - in the last year and a half she would call Mama Arias in a rage.

Just saw a new clip of Papa Arias on CNN. More revealing than the first. When Stabby quit her job the day before she was arrested Papa asked her why she was running.
hum missed the new video, should be up today. Im not jumping to a whole lot on either parent until I see more than Dick Drews droplets
Year and a half, if pops is off a little on his timing, it falls into the summer Darryl said he saw a big change in her.

What he is describing is her devolving into these borderline behavioral characteristics over time. Switching quickly from idealizing to devaluing someone is classic borderline.

When younger, many with personality disorders can mask it -- she's just young, going through the change.

But as they reach adulthood and begin to interact with society at large their old compensations no longer work for her. She devolves into her disorder.

And the old justifications aren't accepted by a society that expects her to behave congruent with her now adult age.

I think he was asking Sky Hughes for the 4k; he was likely upside down on his mortgage in '08 and trying to refinance.

Her mother seems to have been sucked in to the defense claims. Why would she have tried to sell the fake pedo letters, and why be so disrespectful of Travis' family? Her demeanor deserves no sympathy imho.

Deanna has him, and someone posted a very cute pic of him lying in a bed with a couple of hand crocheted blankets. I am very curious why we have not heard anything from Deanna, if he had a seven year relationship w/her. She would know if he was a virgin or not?

In regards to LaVi, I sure think she has an agenda! To help Jodi win and make herself a nest egg too!

I have personaly been in a relationship where sex was witheld for not "toeing the line " and was taken downtown for stopping an attack on myself when it was clear that I didn't nor ever hit her .There's a stigma attached to being the victim for a guy.I was raised to never ever raise a hand to a woman which I still live by.When she called 911 on me I walked out the door and waited for the police knowing that I had done nothing wrong and when they arrived I was cuffed, booked and arrested, spending 3 day's downtown ,then I had to sign a restraining order to not to go back to my own house.(I owned it and she was living with me) on her word that I hit her. There were no bruises, cuts, red slap marks nothing. She tried to slap me and I caught her hand she tried with the other hand to slap me and caught that one to and then she tried to kick me in the balls.I pushed her away and she stopped her advance.I remember sitting in jail saying to myself this is bullshit and that I should have punched her out .I realized she was making me think of things that were not me or the person I wasn't.Thank god I have fantastic friends who went to my house and told her she had to move and then I was able to go home.I tell the story and 90 % of the people I tell it to say I should have knocked her out.I'm just not that kinda guy..........

I have pointed out that there are numerous, reasonable explanations for Travis's continued relationship with Jodi. If you have done any research into male abuse victims and male stalking victims, you would see the pattern that Travis displayed is not all that unusual for someone who is in an abusive, stalking relationship.

The highlights of the research for you:

--Many victims of abuse, regardless of gender, worry that their abuser will harm themselves. (Jodi likes to threaten suicide, doesn't she?)
--Many victims of abuse stay in a relationship because they think that the person will change.
--In the case of male victims of abuse, they will often stay because the abuse is not always physical, so they do not recognize or understand that the behavior exhibited is abuse.
--Many men fear seeking help because of what you keep repeating over and over -- disbelief and scorn that a man could be abused and/or stalked, and somehow not be able to get away.
--Many abuse victims attempt to leave an average of seven times before they are successful at breaking off the relationship. Despite what you keep repeating over and over, it's not that easy to just get away from an abuser or stalker.
--Leaving an abuser increases the chance for a violent confrontation. It is the most dangerous time for an abuse victim. More women of DV are killed in their attempts to leave their abuser than any other time. Male abuse victims that are murdered by females are far less common, but they do occur.

As a man, Travis would have faced countless difficulties in accessing help for abuse or stalking. According to my Google-fu skillz, According to the NVAW survey, slightly more than half of female stalking victims reported their stalking to the police (2). Overall, only 13% of female stalking victims reported that their cases were criminally prosecuted. Police were more likely to arrest a stalker when the victim was a woman (2). Police were also more likely to refer female than male victims to victim service agencies for support and counseling (2). http://www.musc.edu/vawprevention/re...stalking.shtml

Here are a list of reasons why abuse victims may not leave: http://www.cobar.org/index.cfm/ID/21090 Note that not all of the reasons listed apply to every single case of abuse. These are just the many, many reasons why victims don't always leave.

One link I found even talked about "Sex as a reward, sex withheld as punishment". If the man is good, and does what his abuser wants, he will be rewarded with sex. If he displeases his abuser, sex will be withheld. The same website even talked about how men can be victims of rape. They may not want sex, but they end up having it just to appease their abuser.

One link from the UK had victim statements. I think there were like 9 of them. At least five of those cases, the woman turned the male in for abuse, even though he had never attacked her. In at least three cases, the male was attacked physically, and pushed the female away, and was arrested for abuse.

I could tell you more, but you can google as well as I can.

That is the one key that people should understand here: We don't know what form of coercion Stabby was using on Travis. Sex as a reward seems very likely. She could have threatened him with the phone sex tape. She could have threatened to turn him in for abuse. She may have said that she would tell people that he raped her.

FWIW, I did find it immensely frustrating to find resources for male victims. Most pages are geared towards women. Another reason why many males don't seek help is because they don't know where to go...and they may not even recognize abuse for what it is.

One last thing: Travis did tell a friend about Jodi. And the friend didn't think Jodi was a big threat. It's not his fault about Travis's death, but it just shows you that Travis may have been looking for assistance, and was told not to worry about it. He may have felt that if he approached law enforcement, they would have just thought he was crazy.

So anyways, I posted some stuff for people to read about abuse in case you're too lazy to look it up yourself. If you still have questions, I suggest you just trot out into the Interwebs and look for information on abuse. The stories will sicken you, and hopefully make you think twice before you judge an abuse victim.

Thinking back to the day she and her sister sort of giggled with Jodi's bantering with JM, could that have really been, a reaction to OMG, listen to what she's doing? They knew Jodi was flakey, but were probably surprised at what she was doing, almost in disbelief.
I'm sure not everyone has softened since the showing of the film clip, but that was an eye opener to me that it would not be a "I don't believe my daughter could do this" thing. She was surprisingly candid about things very early on. We did not previously know this.
I have never had harsh feeling towards Jodi's mother or the rest of her family. It makes me angry when people make fun of them, actually. They never killed anyone. Nobody know what makes a psychopath, people with perfectly normal childhoods grow up to be psychopaths. I don't think her family is at fault in any way.

People complain about her behavior in court. Someone else who met her described her as "dim". I think she probably is not the brightest bulb and probably does not realize how her behavior in court is being perceived. She's in court every day for hours, I guess she and her sister probably share a joke sometimes, oh well. I don't think they are horrible people. Being slightly dumb does not mean you're an awful person.

As a parent, I can't even imagine how awful this must be for her family. I harbor them no ill will.

JA's sister Angela is alleged to be a real domestic violence abuse victim. We really don't know much about JA's family, for all we know there has been other DV in the family. I was impressed when Momma Arias said she wanted to puke. That was real. IMH experience, I've seen parents look exactly like this. They are shocked or sickened with many questions.

I posted part of the email Jodi sent to Abe yesterday. Here is the full email:

    Feb 18, 2007
    Hi Abe
I'm writing you for a few reasons. Let me get the more trivial ones out of the way first. I tried reaching you by phone during the week without any luck. Probably because I've been calling at ridiculous hours of the night after I'm off work. Like the last three months, I find myself once again near the end of the billing cycle of my cell phone, out of minutes, and paying through the teeth to talk on the phone during daylight hours. But I digress. The reason I've been trying to reach you is to let you know that I was listening to the online version of "Never Before never again" at freedomvideos.com (?), and some thoughtful jerk laced a voice over on Mr. Stonecipher toward the end of the video. He says "there has never been a better time or a better opportunity than right now at Pre-Paid Loser" I am not joking. That's what you hear. If you want to hear it for yourself, go the video. It's about 11 minutes and 45 seconds into it. Just thought I would make you aware of that, since you use that on occasion for your prospects.

The other, and more important reason that I am writing to you is regarding our friendship. You have been a wonderful source of information on many levels, and I appreciate your insight and perspective. I'm glad that we met, and I'm glad we are friends. But after considering a few aspects of our friendship, such as the conversation we had the other night revisiting the dream you had to the hug we exchanged at the last AFT in Anaheim. I think we should re-think our conduct toward each other. I know that between you and me those things are simply gestures of a functioning friendship between a couple of single individuals. Up until recently I've considered myself single, and I never would have considered it to be inappropriate or even given it a second thought. Although I'm not married and I'm not Travis' girlfriend. From now going forward I feel that you and I should keep a friendly distance. I'm certainly not suggesting that we ignore each other, but even something as simple as a hug can be misconstrued as something it is not. You and I and everyone are hugging everyone else in this business. We are like a big family. So it may seem somewhat like a foreign request on my part, but you're a pretty savvy guy, so I know you'll understand.

I'm aware that you like me, and you've made that pretty clear. I'm flattered by that. I hesitate to tell you all of this only because I am reminded of the stories you've shared with me about women taking it the wrong way (like when you prospect them, for example). Your internal dialogue is less than friendly ("Look, lady. I didn't ask,, and I'm not interested in you anyway!") So in considering that, please know that I'm not assuming that you're still pursuing me or that you see me as some kind of prize that you're striving (??) for. We rarely talk outside of PPL events, and I am fully aware that you have a life completely outside the realm of "Jodi" which involves a blossoming business, a large social circle and network of people, and most likely many other female interest as well.

You already know that I'm seeing Travis. I've never divulged many details about our relationship simply because I consider certain details to be sacred and private, and should be kept between him and I anyway. I know I've told you that we are not in a committed relationship, but regardless of our status, I care so deeply about his. I often ask myself, how would Travis feel about this? Or, how I would I feel if Travis were doing what I'm doing right now with someone else? In fact, this reasoning has been a compelling force behind all of my actions, decisions and conduct as of late.

Now I'm sure you're already aware of this, but when we hugged at the Grove a few weeks ago, my intention was nothing more than to warmly greet a friend and business associate. But I've since given this further thought and I've asked myself, would I have acted the same if Travis were there that day? In truth, I would not have. And this leads me to question my own character. I don't want to be inconsistent, especially not when it involves something and someone that is so important to me. Granted, human behavior is often modified and adjusted under various circumstances. Everyone does this, it is natural. But at this point, none of that matters to me. What matters to me is how that which I am accountable for would make Travis feel. I care more about him than I ever have. His happiness is of cardinal significance to me, and his feelings and opinions I value more greatly than gold.
I didn't write this email to expound upon my secret worship-Travis-agenda. I only wanted to clear a few things up, if not for you, then for myself. For I'm sure you already "get" all of this anyway. But at least now I've said it, and I can rest easier knowing that we are on the same page about things. I think you're a great person who's never had a single bad intention toward me, and I appreciate all of the time you've taken to impart to me your knowledge, perspectives, and experiences. I will certainly see you around at events, to which you bring a lively energy.
    Take care until then, Jodi

I was talking about my brother-in-law the other day, he is Manic depressive and borderline psychotic. Well, we got a phone call on Monday and he wasarrested on 3 felony counts, resisting arrest with violence and battery of a LE deputy on Saturday night. They are trying to get him discharge to a hospital. This is the third time I have seen it happen. When he starts having episodes, he will pace, shout for no reason and become very aggressive.

    Thanks for posting, Berm.

Note this email was written for Travis to read, not Abe, as Abe said he never saw it, correct?

Email was an attempt to control/manipulate Travis.

I think the purple planet is in the manic phase of retrograde. Alyce sold her soul and her cause out for a few pieces of silver. She is doing tremendous damage to the real victims of abuse, men and women.

How do you feel about Mama Arias trying to sell the pedo letters that Stabby forged and Mama Arias knows she forged to the National Enquirer?

I feel for you, this is why real victims of abuse, men and women, have a hard time being believed.

true but why muck the waters when your trying to get rid of someone to extend their contact with you for 2 years with the promise to pay money.Doesn't make sence.Sell the car to someone else .Or give her the car as a goodby gift.

IDK, my brain is foggy on that. It was a BBC email. (blind carbon copy) but the address in the emails header is Travis' with Forward. Maybe somebody with email experience knows???? I don't.

That's what I think too. I know the DT is making a big to do about it being an email that is being forwarded to TA, but I think JA wrote this to herself and fwd it to TA...you can change any of the information in the email when you fwd it, just like the original email address it was sent to.
