I have a large shelf in my foyer with resting shelves on it. I was dusting it this morning. For shits and giggles I put my foot on the "tip of the shelf" like she claimed to do. Mind you I didn't put pressure, I kept the pressure on my other leg, when I put the slightest pressure on that shelf with my foot guess what happened? It flipped up and I ended up on my ass.

I wonder if any of the jury have done the same thing.

I'm wondering if the ppl over at the JAII site have ever considered the ET theory in this case? It totally makes sense to me now. JA's fog was alien induced. When they were monitoring the planet earth they saw on their ETTV that JA was up for some anal probing and figured WTH, let's beam down to AZ. I dunno maybe TA was resistant to their alien mind control and they had to get him out of the way. MAYBE the silver thing in the shower was not a snazzy silver sandal at all. If I wanted to read what those folks were posting I would go there myself but I don't because this trial is already stressful enough. I don't think it serves any purpose other than to get folks worked up.

I have to agree with you....I really don't want to know what those people are chatting about. They are a different group, with a different agenda....and I respect their right to their own opinions....I just don't want to hear them.

I love it- it's so insane, it's hilarious! That's a huge part of the reason why I participate in this forum- for the humor we all share on this case. In NO WAY am I taking away from the seriousness of it all, but with something this serious and like Denver said, stressful, why not add a little bit of humor to break it up? When others post stuff I don't like, I just brush over it.

On a separate note, does anybody have a link (or a name) of the DV expert that is supposed to testify today?

Mandy's response is right in line with my thinking as well. :) There is certainly a lot of posts here that I don't care for. I just skip on by. It's not like there aren't plenty to choose from.

Seems to be a toss up between which is worse to listen to between Willmott and Nurmi. I think Nurmi makes me more angry, while Willmott really frustrates me with her ineptitude. It's six to one, a half dozen to the other I guess.

Yes! The pictures of Travis, sitting in that shower, shows how incredibly small it was. I forget the exact measurements, but I think it was 36 wide by 34? deep? Tiny. He would have had a problem trying to leap out of that position....or even get up on his feet!

I think they are going to drag it into next week. I really hope that it is Willmott too, I can't take another day of Nurmi. They have at least 2 more witnesses (3 if they decide to bring in McCarthy) correct? Or are there more than that?

I believe you are right. She spent a lot of time, calculating what she was going to do that day. I don't think she expected him to put up the fight for his life, that he did.

I thought the same thing, huge mistake to call him. Then again it was a bad idea for them to put Arias on the stand knowing full well that JM was going to shred her and her story to pieces. I do hope that they know if they put him on the stand he will be torn apart just as Arias was. That January statement that JM is talking about has to be the JAII website post. If "I would lie for her" gets said in front of the jury all of his credibility goes out the window.

I had a question about the bathroom scene. It's kind of stupid, but during Jodi's testimony, she mentioned the camera bouncing off the bath mat, or maybe it didn't (her words, not mine). There's no bath mat in that particular crime scene photo. Was a bath mat ever discovered at the scene?

I realize in the long and short of things, it's a minor detail, but I always thought it was odd how she said the camera bounced off the bath mat, or floor. I'm pretty sure the answer depended on whether or not she could remember if there was a bath mat or not.
