I also was toying with the theory that maybe she brought the gun in and hid it in the closet for future use BUT there was no blood in the closet. How could she have done all that and not have left any trace of blood? Also, the gun shell was found in the bathroom by the sink I believe, landed on blood. So she couldn't have shot him at the end of bathroom hallway and drug him back in the bathroom. MAYBE she his the gun in the linen closet that is actually in the bathroom? She would probably be able to reach that without climbing up on the shelves, and even so, they probably weren't standalone shelves like in the closet.

I'm telling you, she taped the gun and knife to the underside of the counter top of the vanity in the bathroom.

Honest mistake to not know what the "silver object" in the bottom corner of the picture was. It's a total dumb-ass move to forget that Travis is not Cinderella and does not wear "silver sandles" or any color of sandals at all.

All she had to do once Travis got in the shower is tell him she is setting up the camera, get the gun and knife and put it next to the bath, trying to remember if there was a ledge there (think there was) he's on the other side of the wall he wouldn't see them, they are in easy reach for Jodi and exactly where she says she was sitting.

You know, I have wondered the same thing. There is a video clip, on the 48 hours site....Maureen Maher is setting up for content in the second story that they covered on Jodi. The updated version of "Picture Perfect." In it, they are taping inside the house. And she talks about what an unsettling feeling the whole place has. It gave me chills, too. I just wonder what they would think, as they walk the halls of that house. If only walls could talk.....

Would they be able to do that what with the family living in there currently?

Justice! You are obviously mistaken. Any five-year old can see that the silver thing in the photo is the tip of Tinkerbell's Pixie Dust dispenser. And everybody knows that 'sandles' is a vacation resort where naughty adults go to play! I am absolutely positive that Jodi Arias wanted to go there but Travis refused to accompany her 'cause he was already booked for Cancun, so she had no choice but to kill him because that's the only way she could get a refund on the deposit she put down with the money she borrowed from the guy in the bar. This will all be revealed in due course. We have to work on our observational and deductive reasoning skills over here. Our reputation is at stake.

OMG. Thank you to the people who are wading through the Jodi fan club site, I just couldn't. Being that painful should be stupid.

I can't believe they are boo-hooing that Martinez is being mean to Jodi, and how dare he ask her questions! I mean, it's not like she's on trial for a crime or anything. Jodi's actions and words are obviously none of the business of the man prosecuting her for murder. How dare he! Why are we even having a trial, why don't they just take Jodi's word for it! I mean, she did give 3 explanations, pick one, and let her go!

Jaysus. Are her fans that ignorant, or are they just desperate? It's inconceivable.


On another note, I don't understand why the defense persists with this "Jodi the mousy librarian" look. It doesn't work. They dress her prim, conservative, and dare I say rather asexual, and then they spend half of 18 days on the stand recounting her sexual exploits. The "Jodi the good girl librarian" is kind of blown out of the water when we hear about her sticking candy up her vag, driving hundreds of miles to blow a guy, and taking it up every hole.

What was the defense thinking?

If anything, they should've gone the opposite way, trying to make her look pretty and bubbly on the stand. That might have given some jurors some pause as to whether they could convict. I mean, let's be honest, she had a better chance if some of the jurors thought she was cute and friendly, i.e. non-threatening, than what they are doing now.

What was the thinking on this whole thing being a suicide, maybe suicide gone wrong? Seems like a funny thing for a guy his age to say to his brother. Maybe he wasn?t as happy as people believe he was?

This was brought up on JVM, or NG, I forget which. More why didn't he, than would he. I found myself wishing they could do a re-enactment with a scale replica of the closet shelves to disprove her theory of climbing on the shelves to get the gun. I have seen enough Snapped episodes to know that this can be done. I believe the house is occupied now so I don't know if that's even possible.
