I can't believe they are boo-hooing that Martinez is being mean to Jodi, and how dare he ask her questions! I mean, it's not like she's on trial for a crime or anything. Jodi's actions and words are obviously none of the business of the man prosecuting her for murder. How dare he! Why are we even having a trial, why don't they just take Jodi's word for it! I mean, she did give 3 explanations, pick one, and let her go!

On another note, I don't understand why the defense persists with this "Jodi the mousy librarian" look. It doesn't work. They dress her prim, conservative, and dare I say rather asexual, and then they spend half of 18 days on the stand recounting her sexual exploits. The "Jodi the good girl librarian" is kind of blown out of the water when we hear about her sticking candy up her vag, driving hundreds of miles to blow a guy, and taking it up every hole.
What was the defense thinking?
If anything, they should've gone the opposite way, trying to make her look pretty and bubbly on the stand. That might have given some jurors some pause as to whether they could convict. I mean, let's be honest, she had a better chance if some of the jurors thought she was cute and friendly, i.e. non-threatening, than what they are doing now.
The JAII site is probably just a bunch of kids. Gotta be. Or the 12 Pinellas County jurors, on 2nd thought.
Agree on the Jodi the librarian look vs pretty, friendly, etc. That would/is more believable. And she might not get the DP or even convicted for that matter. Goes to show you how much her DT cares about her. Maybe they're pro-State to begin with in this case. Who in their right mind would want to have her back out on the streets?

Pretty much. The state charges that she planned and executed first degree murder against Travis.....and they have provided mountains of evidence to prove their case. Jodi claims that she did kill him, but it was in self-defense. Many times, the judge will instruct the jury that they may also consider lesser charges, such as murder in the second degree, involuntary manslaughter, etc. So the jury ultimately will have to decide if the state has proven their case against her, beyond a reasonable doubt.
I have to agree with you....I really don't want to know what those people are chatting about. They are a different group, with a different agenda....and I respect their right to their own opinions....I just don't want to hear them.
I went by the JAII website...who the heck is running that place. I think I'd use some less psycho looking phots of JA to plaster all over the page. Oh well. One of the news agencies, AZ one Im pretty sure, recently did a segment on TA's house. There is a new family living there with children. They did not know until two days before they closed about the murder. They went forward. They refuesed to be interviewed for the segment and want to protect their children , they have two little ones according to interviewed neighbors. They also talked about divulging the murder there for home sales, but one of the people in the business said, all a realtor would have to do is say, 'I didn't know'.
