I also have wondered about JA's interview when she said that Travis said something to the effect of "I can't feel my legs", which would probably be due to some injury to the spinal cord from being stabbed in the back. I kinda think that was actually said to her in the midst of this attack when he was pleading for her to stop. Think for a moment he had his hands up to shield himself from further injury and was at that time saying, "Jodi! Please Stop! I CAN'T FEEL MY LEGS!" I takes one cold, hard person to keep going.

to me this looks like this is part of discovery possibly. Does "to compel" mean subpoena?

Could be either Flores or JM had verbal verification of information and now they just need a subpoena to compel the actual records. No way JM says in open court that Wal-Mart has no record of return of gas can as Stabby claims unless he could back it up. Same with Tesoro math he did from her bank statement.

yw, just happened to be one I had my eye on. We'll see it at a more appropriate time usually, after a verdict, before sentencing with some others.

For queen - its up to the judge to say enough but in a DP case, I seriously doubt you will see a judge deny a juror the right to ask a question. HUGE appeal issue they wouldn't want.
The concern is that they are asking a prolific liar any questions! AND, that a lot of questions we see them asking, have been answered in testimony! Someone isn't paying attn, dumb as a stump or we got some of both. IMO.

You are perceptive as hell. One Juror asked a question that obviously demonstrated that he/her thought "The Law of Attraction" and "The Secret" were part of Mormon Church Doctrine. Earlier on, somebody said "dumb as a bag of hammers." That's a pretty good comparison. We can only hope that they don't think their job is to play detective. That's what the Anthony Jury did.

You know, I know, Casey knew, and everyone else knows the truth about Caylees death. The jury knew too. The innocent verdict came because they followed the instructions. There was not one shred of physical evidence given, no DNA anywhere, nothing to directly tie her to the crime. Yes, the circumstances added up to us, but no verified evidence was ever given. I understand the verdict, I was involved as a juror in a miniscule case where we knew the crime was done, but the evidence and witnesses were not of anything concrete.
Living a stone's throw from Orlando, so our news day and night was about Casey Anthony. She's not been seen since that day of the verdict until last week when she had to appear in a court in Tampa to(of all things) declare bankruptcy!

That's what the Casey Anthony jury did alright. But they're not supposed to. Circumstantial Evidence is Evidence. They're not supposed to speculate on what's not there. They're supposed to examine what is there. The Casey Anthony Jury acted as though they were auditioning for a role on CSI. I think the popularity of the profession of "Criminalist" got to them and they were gonna show the real investigators that they knew better. I hope this Judge gets through to this Jury in a way that they understand their duty.

Can hardly wait til tomorrow. I was thinking that these records weren't going to come out until the rebuttal phase. Now I wonder if they'll be shown to Jodi tomorrow.

This has been a loooooooooooooong, drawn out trial. It's killing me to have to wait until Wednesday for the testimony to start again. Many times, I've found myself imagining how different it would be if Judge Belvin Perry were presiding over this case (of course, he's in Florida, so can only be in my dreams!) but I LOVED his no nonsense approach in the courtroom. He held everyone involved, accountable. This judge is too permissive in letting the schedule get sidetracked as often as she does.

I'm hoping these Jury Members have some vestigial memory of Frontier Justice. They're not so far away from the days of the Wild West where the Honor Code prevailed.

Most companies request a subpoena. The prosecution will also have to have a person from each company testify as to their record keeping requirements and the accuracy of the records. Unless of course Stabby and the defense want to stipulate that she lied ~ AGAIN!

yep, I think you're right, I guess this is so late in the game because of how the trial has unfolded... kind of seems like this evidence should have been ready to go before this though.

Kind of hard though to predict what Stabby was going to testify to. Prosecution didn't get a preview of her testimony, Once she testified and then committed to the lie over and over - GAME ON!
