I'm anxious for Wed. Too much left hanging as inferred but not connected well for this jury at this point IMO. But, the young blonde gal that attends the trial and goes on as Dr Drew's juror, indicated something more is coming Wed. Now what or how she'd know or if she is just hoping / guessing I don't know. We know JM isn't done so common sense says there is more to come. JM usually tosses out his evidence at the start of his point he means to make so we'll see what is left since he ran out of time.

The forensic camera specialist was the one who testified, I believe, that the close up shot of Travis appeared to be of him in a sitting position...based on the angles and view.

Yes, she was questioned. She testified that she was afraid to run out of gas in the desert, which is why she borrowed the cans.
HA! We know this is a lie. But, Martinez needs more than gas cans to prove premeditation, because this could seem plausible to some jurors - she was traveling at night. What adds to the complete picture is many other factors that could tie into premeditation. The turning off of the cell, the changing of the hair, the gas cans. She also lied about how far she was going when she rented the car. So - all of it is circumstantial with respect to premeditation. They obviously cannot prove whose gun it was, even though we all know. It cannot be assumed by the jurors. Anything that happened thereafter, would not be considered premeditated.
If Martinez can tie them all together and get the jurors to believe him, that is the key. I do believe he thought he had it in the bag with just these things and wished he had really hammered her more on her lies. He was jumping all over the place.

I missed that testimony. I will have to look for it and read it. Did the expert say the door was open or closed? Sure would put my questions about that to rest.

This is so uncanny, as I really felt like each eye was saying something different. It shocked me to see the mirror image of the left eye; it was the eye showing fear. The eyebrow on the right was lowered; to me, it seemed sad.

I can't say for sure in Utah, but I've traveled in the Mid-Atlantic and SE area of the U.S. and there are convenience stores that close at night, but the pumps stay open. In fact, there's a BP station a mile from my house -- and I live in a mid-sized metro area -- that closes around those same post-midnight hours. The pay-at-the-pump still works.
Same thing when I lived a bit further north; big city area. There was an Exxon that had a convenience store inside, and they closed during late night hours. Many's a morning I was there at 5 or 6am getting gas on my way to work and there is nothing but the gas pumps working. So, I don't have a hard time believing that Jodi ran into just this situation in Utah or wherever.

I am not sure if he did or not...I think it was on day 6 of testimony. To me, the door looks closed on the close up because you can see water droplets all over the glass door. However, the next in sequence...the one of his torso while he is still sitting in the shower appears that the door has been opened. No more glass, and you can see the bottom of the door and frame and it sure appears open to me.

No way Martinez says in open court in front of jury that Salinas Wal-Mart has no record of return of gas can for that entire day without being able to back it up. Willing to bet at this point we will see a Rep from Tesoro testify that third purchase was gas.
Also willing to bet that defense does NOT call Matt McCartney to testify for Stabby. The jury will wonder why the ONE person she supposedly told this fairytale to BEFORE she was arrested and who she claims would not betray her did not show up.
My money is Juan Martinez.
