Sounds like JA with her emphasis on bumping her head during the struggle might be building a case for head injury. Therefore if we are to believe a head injury is why she has memory loss? I do not buy the inconsistencies surrounding the fog.

Isn't this the most twisted murder case ever? A confession without evidence. All kinds of evidence, but no way to put it together. A confessed killer who lies, points the finger at everyone and everything, and omits the most important part do the story. You would think it would be easy, but so man red herrings to distract.

The good news is Scott Peterson's trial had less evidence, a decomposed body, and massive consciousness of guilt he was convicted. One can only hope JA's lies equate to the jury tossing out most of her testimony and finding her guilty of premeditated murder.

Does anyone think Juan watches any media coverage on this, either on TV or on-line? Not that he has much time.... but I just wonder.

I'm pretty sure on direct or re-direct she said that she said it before he lunged at her. I was surprised when she said he said it after she shot him because that wasn't her original story. The second story is worse no? The ME said Travis would be incapcitated after being shot, how did he say all that and still chase her again?

I meant my post should have said 2 links. I left out the 2 in the first post. This couldn't have been when they first met. They met at a PrePaid Legal conference. This is obviously a LDS Singles Ward activity (activities like these are very common). This had to have been WELL after they met already.

Something is there but what is it?

I look at this differently, though I lean toward her being narcissistic. I don't think "SHE" was able to move on unless he was dead. Given their history they always ended up back together. Once he finally got angry and called her out on her manipulations and there was a wholesome educated good girl he was interested in, she had to know it was over (for him). It was the end to her wishes hopes and dreams...so she had to kill him.
    What??

This thread is great for all the rabid Jodi hate. Definitely entertaining.

I appreciate that you recognized the narcissism though. I agree on that. But since one of you guys said it I have to secondguess myself now.

Good observation. Really wasn't sure why people would speculate that to begin with. These grown adults do stuff like that during these "group dates"? LOL, interesting.

I haven't kept up. This case blows. Some people love it though. I guess this is better than people wetting their pants thinking about Jodi being executed.

I was wondering if anyone came in with a multiple killer theory yet. But I guess people still believe in fairy tales. Have at it, gang! "

Her trip to see him was to try and convince him to do so....If he said , YES , He would have lived....but He said, NO. I won't . It was then that she decided to slaughter him.... Still premeditated murder no doubt. The bottom line being ....if she got what she wanted , Travis lived ( especially after the 2 hour sex fest). She thought that would melt him. It did not. When he said, NO, her mission to kill began. YOU WILL TAKE ME OR NO ONE? I JUST GAVE U MY BODY AGAIN.
But a psychotic break would mean that, at that moment, she was unable to tell right from wrong...fantasy from reality. In those cases, they can go after a "innocent by reason of temporary insanity" but there is no evidence to support that Jodi was in this situation. Nothing. Her behavior, prior to and after the murder speaks against that. Her behavior does not match the criteria for that. She was raging, that much is for certain.....the overkill of Travis and the wounds to his body all support that. But she knew exactly what she was doing.

Yep, The Single Adult wards consist of young single adults from 18-30. They usually have a monday night activity that is a long these lines. The majority don't drink, or smoke, they don't go to bars (I say majority because there are some who don't follow the guidelines set by the church). They have these activities to get to know each other. They also have dances every friday and saturday night at different church buildings. They use the gym for the dances.

Yea, this whole "she did it all by herself" thing is bordering on the impossible for me. That's why I can NOT understand how so many people are convinced of it.

It's like saying "Yea, my cat drove me here. See my cat? See the car? See me? Yep, that's what happened. Oh, if that's not what happened, then YOU come up with something else!"

I mean, it's obvious the cat didn't do it. I dunno what exactly happened, but the cat thing is absolutely ridiculous.

No, I think you misunderstood what I was saying. Metis was talking about the phenomenon which can occur with certain types of death.....the sudden evacuation of the contents of the bowel or bladder at the moment of death. It's an involuntary reflex, involving the release of the sphincter muscle, so that the contents are immediately expelled. I did see the blood and fluid at the bottom of the shower.....it appears to be bloods and other fluids that were collecting underneath his body during the several days it spent decomposing in the shower stall. There has also been no evidence that she used a sheet to drag his body....that was only speculation, I believe. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong?

I have to agree. I lived in the Mojave Desert for a few years (in Las Vegas) and we often traveled to California via that route, passing through both Barstow and Baker. So desolate that I was terrified during the entire trip. We had extra water and fuel, but there is nothing but desert for mile upon mile.

Oh my, I'm not much into sports, so I looked this fellow up. What a all around piece of shit. Maybe Jodi should take a move out of his playbook and reform her image by starting a charity. Psychotic break IS the rage. This is actually beyond normal rage...it is...psychotic rage. She could not stop herself when she was rejected. She was rejected by him in the past after they broke up. Yet, he would allow her to see him when he felt like it. She agreed to a secret relationship. Her hopes were high that he would accept her fully like he did in the beginning of their relationship. This is what I am trying to say. If Travis did not take her back as his official girlfriend, he was a dead man. If he did, he would live. Yes, she knew exactly what she was doing...obviously. Her hopes were high, she thought after a great day of great sex ( yet again), he would relent and take her to Cancun. Know that Jodi was in love with him. He was only in LUST with her. He surprised her by saying, NO to her yet again. She deluded herself into thinking that he truly loved her after she gave herself completely sexually to him, yet again. When he said, NO and had said NO, again again and again. She snapped killed him Point: Again, if he had changed his mind, and said, Yes, I will take you to Cancun...she would not have murdered him. Point: She was prepared either way...because she knew deep down that he did not LOVE her, he only wanted her for great sex.... If he did not take her to Cancun as a girlfriend, he would die.

nothing makes sense in this case - she might have been better off sticking to the ninja story, she could have said it was a crime of passion, she could have said the room mate helped because dna was there - she could have not testified at all and would be in a better situation - i just don't understand why she is doing it the way she is - even temp insanity - so many ways she could have gotten out of this corner she forced herself into now

She dragged him back into the shower to wash him off. There is no other reason to do so. Look at his corpse in the shower and the lack of blood. He was stabbed multiple times in the chest. Where is the blood bath ? Down the drain is where it is .

Then, of course, she said that she thought the gun was unloaded. Which, kind of defeats the purpose of having a gun, if you have no ammo.

When the video of Travis shooting assault rifles with one of his friends turned up last week, I was sure she was going to claim that Travis took the gun shooting and used up almost all of the ammo. I wanted to see the reaction from well, everybody, if she had claimed he took a puny little pocket-gun .25 caliber to take with guns who were shooting off assault rifles.

Sadly, she did not go there.
She might be answering more questions tomorrow. Maybe she will go there

To the last I grapple with thee; from hell's heart I stab at thee; for hate's sake I spit my last breath at thee.

It's more important for her to bring Travis down a peg than it is to save her own skin.

One can have a psychotic break due to rage without being a sociopath/psychopath, or someone with a narcissistic personality disorder. Jodi Arias was not insane. She planned to kill him IF he did not give her what she wanted....which was Cancun. Had he agreed to take her to Cancun. He would not have been murdered by her AT THIS TIME. However, she probably would have murdered him sooner or later. The more he rejected her as a true mate, marriage partner, the more she was apt to kill him. It was coming sooner or later because he did not love her. He loved the sex. She was obsessed with him. Obsession is not love. Lust is not love. Travis was a target regardless UNTIL she had absolute control over him....which of course can never happen with anyone. She had a psychotic break meaning....she experienced psychotic rage. Why? Because she's a sociopath/psychopath etc. These types of people DO NOT have an emotional PAUSE button. They are emotional hemophiliacs.
