OK, so maybe they were half buying some of what she said under direct, or more likely, were waiting for the prosecution to cross to get another perspective on what she said before asking their questions. But regardless, once JM got a hold of her, cutting through the nonsense and forcing her to ask the tough questions they woke up and wanted to grill her further. They're not buying her nonsense, and the fact that Juan only objected to only 4 questions (which Nurmi objected to too/must have been silly stuff) means he's liking what they're asking. And don't forget he gets to follow up on all of the questions asked, after Nurmi. Should be classic!

hair color,
upside down plate,
no trace of any rope... Hence no reason a knife would be anywhere nearby,
Memory loss of seeing any blood, stabbing and slitting,
Gas cans,
Missing car mats,
Kool aid stain on back seat of rental car,
And so on...

One question that I haven't seen answered (I may have missed it), when Jodi was on direct, she was asked who was going to Cancun with Travis and she said it was his friend's babysitter, and he owed the friend money so by taking the babysitter to Cancun the debt would be considered paid. Is Mimi anyone's babysitter or was this whole thing just made up? As far as I've heard, she was Travis' friend who he met through the church. Was she trying to insinuate Travis lied to her about who he was taking?
That topic has been thoroughly visited pages ago; reading the response in the thread, they were one upping each other with disses. like he and jodi did with sex talk.
I do agree that could be where the idea hatched for her, possibly even her lawyers asking her about him being a ped because of the post to help her come up with the idea. They could call Chad to explain (i saw him on tv) but that would not help the defense as it would cause the jury to come to the same conclusion, that it was jesting and that it sparked the idea. We know Chad could delete those comments but did not. That would look suspicious. He was a childhood friend.
I can't believe they make a big deal out of her saying she saw this once, no other evidence. Besides, he would have closed/locked the door even without any pictures of a boy. Totally unbelievable story imo.

I agree, Ive never said I believed there were skaters. Im just saying, when people were asking why prosecution never brought photos or what ever of the parking lot in for evidence, I figured it is because the parking lot shows that she could have PARKED where she said she did. I also said that that is likely the only truth to her story, as in, she parked there, thats it, anything added to her story beyond that I do not think is true.
The fact that there is a small wall there could mean absolutely nothing as well. She could easily stay far enough away from the wall that skaters could fit in to mess with shit.
Again, I am not saying I believe there were skaters. But there are definite arguments that the defense could use to make it look like it could be true.

Right...? Exactly she complains about it, but had a faithful one whom she cheated on, maybe not technically, but she made her mind up to leave her faithful beau for TA.
