She probably didn't want anyone to see that her car was in his driveway? Or maybe her car was a piece of crap. Hmmm.....
She probably didn't know the difference or was only going to use it to burn all of the evidence in the desert? That's what I am thinking....
So she's returning a $13 gas can because she was on a budget, but she bought $5 coffees at two Starbucks while driving through California?
Ooooookay.
OJ felt like it went on foreverrrr. I remember being on vacation in the summer when the chase went down and they ended up reading his verdict over the intercom at school (no idea why that was necessary). I'm going on vacation next week and will flip shit if they wrap this up while I'm away.
According to the ladies on Websleuths, only the media is being seated on TA's side. So, people behind Mom and Auntie could be for Travis. Travis's sisters give out dark blue ribbons to their supporters, to distinguish them from Jodi people. Still, it looks like there have been a lot of empty seats lately, even WS have been staying home. You would think the DT would get the message.
Is there anywhere to see these clearer? Her chicken scratch is a bit difficult to read. Would love to get ahold of that thing and read it all, she seemed to follow it with her eyes and reluctant to give it up so it means something to her. I have seen more from her about that stupid diary than I ever have for anything relating to the man she supposedly loved
They say the more she talks, and the more tehe Jury get to know her, the less inclined they'll be to want to kill her. Holy shit! Really? I'm SICK of this lyin hoe, I know they have to be!
I think Tigrgrll (sp) brought up the Chicago movie issue. Funny because today I was thinking the same thing. Jodi took the stand and failed to show self defense. JM tore through her lies. Defense came back trying to explain all her screw-ups but I think they are only digging the hole deeper. (That would be three-hole wonder deeper). I'm SO SICK of hearing about her sexlife......STFU! And when she first took the stand I swear I expected her to start singing "We Both Reached For The Gun" I think this bitch thinks she is Roxie Hart and she is going to walk. I may be a little worried about the Razzle Dazzle, but I'm hoping JM wins out. Please keep up the great posts; it's the only way I can keep up when I'm working.![]()
Sorry guys. My Internet is gone. Centurylink will try to fix it tomorrow... That's if the snow is not bad. I have the most of the morning recap but no way can I post it from my phone. Again, sorry
Don't worry I can barely spell the screen name myself lol. I usually just sign everything Tigg.
Its scary how much this trial reminds me of the Chicago movie. I even had to watch it again the other night because I could see so many parallels. The difference is I feel like the Prosecution in this case commands the court room way more than the Defense. (Although the defense really is making a circus out of it.)
I totally agree that she thinks she is Roxie Hart and swears she is going to get away with it. I'm hopeful that the jury will see through all of the crap and convict her.
Let me throw this out there: How many murder trials do you get that come with 1: Stolen grandma's gun 2: Rented car 3: Two different hair colors 4: Victim's friends all know who did it from day one 5: Gas cans 6: SEX again 7: THE GREATEST: defendant took her own pictures IN THE ACT. Just let JM line this all up and I bet she's shaking like a Chihuahua when they read the verdict. ( That's actually an insult to the poor dog).
I wonder if Jodi's family members and attorneys will be laughing and chuckling when its announced she is getting the death penalty.
The way she used the pronoun 'we' is called the 'Majestic Pronoun.' - sometimes, the 'Royal We'. It's public use in that way is formalized and reserved for the Queen, the Pope, the President, and other holders of high office. It implies the high position they occupy and from which they speak when addressing matters in which their constituency has a vital and a shared interest. All of you mental health pros. should regard Jodi Arias's use of it as a sign of her breathtaking megalomania. How benign of Queen Jodi to condescend to us common folk by enlightening us as to where 'we' would all be had she made 'different choices: as though her choices direct our destinies.' Stop the presses! We are not here, and Travis Alexander is no longer alive, because Jodi Arias did not make different choices. We are here, and you are on Trial for what you did. You murdered Travis Alexander in a cruel and deliberate manner. It was not an act of fate, nor the will of God, nor a duty of office. You did it for yourself. Now you must pay by yourself. Your choices have nothing to do with us nor with where we were, nor where we are, nor where we will be. Those are our choices, not Jodi Arias's. However, your actions have everything to do with us. That's why we're here. You stand before the Criminal Court of the People of the State of Arizona to answer to their charge of having committed first degree murder of one of their citizens, a crime against the people, You are a killer who has run out of choices. Furthermore, your choices are of no importance to Travis's family and loved ones whatsoever. You are not one of them. You are not one of us. Only your actions concern us! Anything else about Jodi Arias is meaningless.![]()
That's what I really think.
