I got Smited because I said the CNN's information is always wrong. I meant HLN. Couldn't believe I got smited when all we ever hear are their mistakes, (ie., decomp was 9 days, Travis is 6'7" and 280 and Jodi was only 5'2".) NG is still saying 29 stab wounds and I thought it was 27. They don't get all their facts straight but then want you to tune into them for all the latest. Uhmmmm it would help if they would get the facts straight first! SHEESH!!

I think it's possible after some stab wounds (including the chest of course) that he tried to make his way down the hall to the bedroom, to maybe make a call for help. I think she chased him. He probably fell to the ground, if he wasn't already crawling from the beginning of his escape attempt. I do believe that he either fell to the floor or she pushed him from a crawling position and then was actually straddling his back. That's based on the number of knife wounds he had up near his shoulder/upper back area. I also think it accounts for the stab wounds to the head and then when he wasn't dying fast enough, pull back his head and slice his throat.

It would've been very hard for an already wounded Travis to get away if Jodi was using her body weight to pin him down while she was attacking.



I am re-reading Det. Flores report about Travis' injuries and it really does bring it home the amount of rage she had for him. And all in a matter of a couple minutes.

11 puncture wounds to his upper back
2 large lacerations to the top and back of his head
1 puncture to the back of his neck and ear
4 punctures and lacerations to the chest
3 lacerations to the belly
1 laceration across the neck, severing the right carotid artery and airway


Those are the knife wounds, excluding the 5 defensive wounds to his hands and of course the gun shot.

Not one stab to the chest, but four. Eleven stabs to the back. ELEVEN!! Three stabs to the back of the head/neck area; including the one where she chipped his freakin skull!

Even without the near-beheading or the gun shot, those are overkill. What kind of person can do such a thing? Jodi is very, very sick.

Agreed, I actually think that aspect is vital to completely disproving the possibility of self-defense. No stone left uncovered and all that jizz.

If it didn't matter, than why go through the whole story today?? To show that details of it didn't make sense and that it was off! Adding to that the fact that the ENTIRE scenario PLUS all the stabbing had to have taken place within 2 minutes proves that her claims of "never lying from the stand" are false. It proves that her whole story of self-defense does not work. And I think basing that around the hard evidence of the photo timestamps makes it a very poignant distinction that would be difficult for any juror to doubt.

I want her to never get out. I will be okay with LWOP, but the DP would be good and even better. I want to see her for real cry because her future is GONE.

Well, I would like to think that most men have enough of a minimum standard so as to not help provide a criminal couple -- including a cold-blooder killer -- with a child. Can you imagine?

Possibly but it could be argued there was enough time. Her story is incredible for so many other reasons that are easily proven, it doesn't make sense to contend this point. Just my opinion.

oops sorry forgot I wanted to reply to this part. I saw Jodi look what appeared to be her mom's way several times. I think there is dysfunction in that home more than people suspect right now while working to hate her so much, but my guess is, we're going to hear more about that part at the penatly phase.
We know by every sign, there isn't anything to like about JA. I think she knows it, resents being the outcast and hasn't a clue as to way she is one. She sits in her daze asking Flores 'what's different'. She knows she's off but can't figure out why. I can't believe that people are still trying to pull the innocent card when the bitch has admitted she did it. If she hadn't been as brutal then maybe she would have gotten a softer sentence, but she went into overkill. Not to mention that she has lied so much it's like the "boy who cried wolf". I don't think I have listened to all of Flores interrogation tapes. I didn't know he said that to her. There is for sure something really wrong in that family, yet her mom has been there everyday supporting her.

I am gonna hold out a little faith that this jury will give her the DP, but I will be okay with LWOP. I just don't want this to happen to anyone else and she deserves the ultimate punishment.

There were two where she chipped his skull bone.
I don't see the one to the forehead listed on your list either.
