I did happen to notice as I was scrolling through that there is a picture -- a legal exhibit, #68 -- of knives in the dishwasher. I know someone else had asked about it in the last couple of days, whether police had checked. There's definitely nothing in there bigger than your standard steak knife, and there's no way a steak knife inflicted those wounds.

Those knives look like the one I have and the dishwasher is similar as well, so I did a little test to see how long those blades *might* be....




The 4" knife in the 2nd compartment from right is the closest I got.

Wow, National Enquirer guy says Bryan Carr actually met Jodi years ago, through mutual friends (not recently as he said), and he is saying that Bryan Carr is going to be a sperm donor for Jodi and her jailhouse gf when she walks on the charges.

First part of your response, I totally agree. I just cannot comprehend in less than 2 minutes he can be sitting in the shower stall and then being dragged back to the bathroom dead. He wasnt chasing her from the bathroom she was chasing him because he was running away from her and he was already fatally injured at that point. I feel he was running down the hall to get away and just started losing strength and maybe fell or stumbled down and was literally crawling into the bedroom when she grabbed his head back and slit his throat.
Second part, I think he was dead when she was dragging him back to the bathroom. If he wasnt totally dead he was pretty damn near checked out at that point. He had already been stabbed in the heart and 28 other stabs to his body and then almost decapitated. Doubt he was still alive after the throat slashing.

But you can't forget that he stood at the sink long enough to cough (spray) out his blood, shown in the evidence pic of splatter at sink.
I still think she stabbed in chest once or twice in shower ( camera in right and knife in left hand) he got up to the sink, she continued to stab at his back, causing more blood spray, he started to run down the hall, still while being stabbed in the back, he falls down, rolls over she drops camera taking her foot pic. ( her back toward bedroom his feet toward bathroom **end of two minutes) There I believe she was seated and made the chest stabs and slit his throat from behind him.

Agreed, I actually think that aspect is vital to completely disproving the possibility of self-defense. No stone left uncovered and all that jazz.

If it didn't matter, than why go through the whole story today?? To show that details of it didn't make sense and that it was off! Adding to that the fact that the ENTIRE scenario PLUS all the stabbing had to have taken place within 2 minutes proves that her claims of "never lying from the stand" are false. It proves that her whole story of self-defense does not work. And I think basing that around the hard evidence of the photo timestamps makes it a very poignant distinction that would be difficult for any juror to doubt.

Her story puts 2 mins 56 seconds actually from the full face pic she called a good one. Claiming the next pic is 'inadvertant' @ 5:30:30. What she failed in that scheme is, if the jurors look close at times he is still sitting even in her 'inadvertant' one. Which shows he wasn't yet 'attacking and body slammed me'. So from his full sitting @5:30:30 full sit pic to drag at 5:32:16 is the only time frame she has to work with by her own words. That puts us at 1:46 for her story.

Well, I would like to think that most men have enough of a minimum standard so as to not help provide a criminal couple -- including a cold-blooder killer -- with a child. Can you imagine?

I know some men would have no issue with knocking her up, but for society's sake, I have to believe they are in the minority. Most people would probably realize that the last thing Jodi should be responsible for is another human life that is completely dependent upon her.

Great idea, thanks. Your knives are straight up and down. Can you slant them like the other ones were and add a fork / tablespoon for a closer simuation?

Christopher Angel Redondo, 31, of Globe, the suspect who allegedly shot and killed Lt. Eric Shuhandler from the passenger seat, had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. Investigators say that he had previously been sentenced out of Gila County on several charges, including child/adult abuse and aggravated assault. Redondo was released from prison in June of 2008 after serving a four-year sentence.

After looking into court records, 3TV's Kristine Harrington found that Redondo's criminal record stretches back over 15 years, and it includes a violent attack against an officer. According to court records, Redondo plead guilty to aggravated assault on a DPS officer in Mesa in 2002. The police report stated Redondo was the passenger of a car that was pulled over, and when he was patted down Redondo pulled out a pair of needle nose pliers. He then punched an officer and proceeded to fight with officers for about three minutes.

Redondo served 10 days in jail and was put on probation.

In addition, court records showed Redondo had been convicted of at least 17 other felonies, including domestic violence, drug possession, assault and harassment.

3TV's Carina Sonn traveled to Redondo's house in Globe, but his family did not want to comment.

Redondo and Irizarry were both taken to Valley hospitals after being shot in the legs by police. Both of the suspects remain in stable condition and are expected to survive.

Actually, I looked it up using the number on it and it's 4" paring knife.

I don't think you could do that kind of damage with *that* knife. The 6" one is getting a little more like what it would take.

If something bad happened at my house and the cops were basing whether all of the knives were accounted for, based on a knife block, the'd be *screwed* because I love to cook and have craploads of knives. (yeah, and if someone tries to break in, I will get stabby... LOL)

I do believe that he either fell to the floor or she pushed him from a crawling position and then was actually straddling his back. That's based on the number of knife wounds he had up near his shoulder/upper back area. I also think it accounts for the stab wounds to the head and then when he wasn't dying fast enough, pull back his head and slice his throat.

It would've been very hard for an already wounded Travis to get away if Jodi was using her body weight to pin him down while she was attacking.



I am re-reading Det. Flores report about Travis' injuries and it really does bring it home the amount of rage she had for him. And all in a matter of a couple minutes.

11 puncture wounds to his upper back
2 large lacerations to the top and back of his head
1 puncture to the back of his neck and ear
4 punctures and lacerations to the chest
3 lacerations to the belly
1 laceration across the neck, severing the right carotid artery and airway


Those are the knife wounds, excluding the 5 defensive wounds to his hands and of course the gun shot.

Not one stab to the chest, but four. Eleven stabs to the back. ELEVEN!! Three stabs to the back of the head/neck area; including the one where she chipped his freakin skull!

Even without the near-beheading or the gun shot, those are overkill. What kind of person can do such a thing? Jodi is very, very sick.

Only thinking he rolled over because the pic shows he is faced up almost reaching (foot looks relaxed prob because she hit nerves in his back causing loss of feeling)
And figured at this point he's down and almost out and thinking she could be on her butt behind him ( facing bathroom) just finishing him off in the front chest with stabs, and ultimately slits his throat. Gun shot after all the knife wounds

I hope readers here are following the trial as she is demonstrating Statement Analysis principle after principle.

She talks, she confirms. Each point of analysis seems to come up, at some time or another. Just as Casey Anthony's statements are now used to teach deception, so will Jodi Arias' statements.

Will the trial end the same?



"The gun went off" is another. Here we see passivity seeking to remove herself from responsibility.

She loves to talk and is a Casey Anthony-like liar with all the extra details she gives.

She portrayed the victim as a monster at times, and as a loving, attentive wonderful person.

She lies via selective memory loss, but it is in her descriptions that she best matches Casey Anthony.

She is a confident liar who's additional details are comical.

The make over reminds us of Casey Anthony as well.

Wow... he doesn't have much to lose. How sad that he took this policeman's life. He's a career criminal. Totally disgusting! He shouldn't have been out of prison in the first place.
