I'm combing my notes for inconsistencies and comparisons. On Jan. 16, a jurors had a question for Det. Flores. The question was whether there was a knife missing from any sets in the house. Flores said no. Yesterday, Arias said Alexander used a knife from a block in the kitchen to cut the alleged cord for her wrists. He was in the master bathroom when he used the knife, and either left the knife there or on the nightstand. Does this mean Arias put the knife back after killing Alexander or is she lying?

When she said that yesterday I remembered what Flores had said, that no knives were missing from the block. I suppose she could have included cleaning it and returning it to the block as part of her post slaying housekeeping "to do" list.

If this is actually what happened, it would not surprise me to find that she washed the knife and put it back. BUT me thinks she brought the knife with her and took it with her when she left.

I posted a few single posts, due to either a change in subject matter, or bringing up a point of my own.

had to join this forum to post in this awesome thread. i have been watching the case for the last couple of weeks and am now going back and watching what I missed at the beginning. A couple of things...

Where is the gun? She is taking pictures of him in the shower and it's still not in the picture.
Why would she leave the camera and get rid of everything else?

As for the rope, I'm pretty sure this is the light green/gold rope that she was talking about.

I think they are trying to explain the duct tape. The evidence picture is a piece of duct tape-not a body bug.
Some bodybuilders have used duct tape as a type of body bug before.

I think most people are expecting a detailed story from Jodi. I'm not. I actually think this part of her testimony is going to go fast.
Jodi has been practicing this story for 4 Yrs. Jodi saying everything is hazy is her best bet.
She's going to say he attacked her viciously, and she protected herself. She saw RED and doesn't remember during and right after. (BTW, look up that Warrant Song "I saw Red" and that describes this case)

It is possible Jodi read 50 Shades. Prisoners are allowed books.

EX 167 was the DUCT TAPE.

Was she saying the Duct Tape was another failed attempt at tying up for sex?

In Jodie's testibalony today she was asked if she brought a gun or knife with her from Pasadena - If you're into body language and have watched her testify you'll note she has a baseline when answering "Yes" and "No" questions.

To the gun question-- She looks at the jury and says no with a definite nod (head nods usually mean yes, head shake side to side mean no)
To the knife question-- She maintains eye contact with Nurmi and won't look at the jury and says no with a tiny little nod

I watched her testimony throughout this day and normally when she is answering "Yes" to a question it is accompanied by that nod she does. When she answers "No" to most other questions (when I don't think she is lying) she will give a little head shake side to side.

Remembering her interviews with Det Flores she does a lot to distance herself from any association with a knife.
1. The intruders shot Travis
2. If she was a murderer she couldn't stab someone, she would have to shoot them
3. She never describes female intruder doing anything to Travis with the knife

I just find it fascinating that even on the stand today her reaction about testifying that she did not bring a knife is in marked contrast to the question about the gun. I think she can't bring herself to think about the knife at all and what she did to Travis with it.

Now that Arias is talking about the events she has already been interviewed about it is absolutely fascinating to go back and watch the initial police interviews and compare them all. She is making mistakes all over the place.

And someone (Ron NYC?) thinks she's quite a petite thing without the strength to do this---I call BS on that, she was a strapping 5ft 6 sturdy piece of all muscle no fat in a homicidal rage and armed to the teeth--she leveled the playing field by having Travis naked, wet and in a sitting position. Easy pickings for her-- the one thing that stands out to me is slitting his throat, that I can't get my head around, not too many women capable of that I'd imagine and probably one of the reasons some people think she had help. Arias is going to have to talk about slitting his throat but my guess is she will say she won't remember and try to gloss over that part.

I have to agree with this. Sometimes big or small is not defined by their height. She just looks like a petite to me. Not super petite, but petite nonetheless. That being said, even if she was missing one arm she'd be able to drag out body across a floor.

Other question. Is the 48 Hours interview admissable?

i would think so since the opening questions for jodi were about why she stated no jury would convict her. doesn't that open the door? i can see why the defense would not want to play it, but they did mention that remark.
