I have no idea what that email was all about or why she sent it to Travis. She said that Travis wanted her to send it to Abe, to tell him that she was with Travis or whatever. But the evidence suggests she just sent it to Travis and not to Abe. So why would she say in court that she sent it to Abe? Either way, it suggests that she was trying to appease Travis, so there would be no need to claim that she sent it to Abe if she did not and just told Travis that she did. She could have said that she told Travis that she sent it, to appease him, but that she really didn't because she didn't feel comfortable doing it. It's just FUCKING WEIRD.

Stupid if she gets caught lying about it. I agree, she could have ran the boohoo appease Travis without lying about who she sent it too.
I'm going to have to listen again, I could swear at one point she had said she didnt send Abe a letter, she didn't have the heart to send it type thing. Do you remember anything like that?

Abe said on his version on TV that she CALLED him with some BS about thanks for being a friend but.. maybe a Drew show?

I'm glad court is cancelled today. I woke up to a failed fan in my computer, so I'm sure it would over heat streaming video. It's also our anniversary today and hubby took the day off. It's nice to have him home and all, but he hogs the TV. It will be tuned to the history channel or some learning channel marathon of how things are made.

I fear Jodi's story will impact the jury. I hate to admit that some of her bullshit rings a bell with me. I was in a very unhealthy relationship for far too long. I found it almost impossible to pull away from him. I married him after being his g/f for several years. We were married for 10 years before I filed for divorce, which took 3 years to obtain due to his manipulations of the court system. He didn't even want me at that point...He just needed to control the process. We also had a very intense sexual relationship that kept me involved with him. There were strange dynamics involved. Like Jodi, I had a history of childhood traumas..although mine were much more than being beaten with a spoon. I have to laugh at her abuse stories. I also had a history of sexual abuse as a child, that I think played a huge role in my dysfunction.

The one thing that pisses me off about Jodi is that she moved a long way from Travis. That alone could have saved me a lot of grief. She could have changed her number and dropped out of PPL. She had a great opportunity to cut off contact and move on. I think that will be what gets her convicted.

This case troubles me. The last couple years of our marriage, I went to bed each night thinking of ways to kill him and get away with it. At the time I had access to drugs that would have done the trick. These drugs at that time, were not really kept track of. They were not drugs of abuse, but drugs used in anesthesia. I can remember checking outdates on these drugs and wondering if taken orally would have the same effect as being injected and imagining putting it in his food. I remember wanting to hurt him. Torture him really. I am almost 30 years out of that relationship, so I'm able to look back on it without all the emotion distorting what was happening. It frightens me to think I may have been close to pulling a Jodi. Like Jodi, sex was a powerful force in the relationship and it kept reeling me in. During the 3 years of court, there was one occasion where the ex was in my home due to an illness with one of our children. He tried to be intimate, and I was tempted, but told him no. If I would have given in to this temptation, I would have been back in over my head and he would be buried in the backyard by now.

Fast forward to today. I'm remarried, 23 years today. We are very happy and have a decent relationship. It's sort of smooth sailing without the high highs and low lows of the previous marriage. My husband doesn't have an abusive bone in his body. I've never had fantasies of killing or torturing him either. Thank god...lol

Sometimes people just bring out the worst in each other.

Sociopaths are known for keeping their affect. She didn't break during Flores and I doubt she will period. It would require her to change her very core! Her autopilot and that isn't possible. she's operated on her low key 'nice' for years. No Primal Fear moment imo. If you saw that movie, that psycho was going for insanity. We dont have that here. I'm betting she's more Dennis Radar, he stood very pleasant reliving horrendous kills one by one in such a monotone 'polite' MO without breaking stride once.

Random Thought: In the "sex tape" the topic of superheroes and particularly Spiderman came up. The topic of him not liking the Spiderman movies came up. That's true, but it's really easy to strip that information out. I do that all the time when I want to send the same info to multiple people without sending a mass email. She also could have copied the email and sent it to him. The only reason i can see for her to say that she forwarded the email to Travis and not explain HOW it was forwarded (like, "Oh I stipped out that info" or "I actually copied and pasted it, I didn't forward it") is that she is straight up lying for absolutely no reason, which demonstrates that she's a pathological liar (surprise!).

WOW! Thank you for sharing your story. I am so glad you are in a better relationship and didn't end up pulling a Jodi. How scary! I do believe there are relationships out there like yours and maybe Jodi's and Travis's. It's unfortunate. I too had a relationship with someone where the sex was amazing and kept sucking me in even though we weren't bf/gf. Just sex buddies I guess. I did get jealous at points where he would talk to other girls and the rage was deep. I can see how your head can get messed up.

I just can't see where Travis was an abuser. She liked the sex and she liked to "roll play" and be the whore he wanted her to be. They both liked it. I think this was because she couldn't handle him being with other girls. If she couldn't have him, no one will type of thing. hmmmm.....

Totally agree. In her case she would have NO reason whatsoever to strip that. In fact, if anything she'd want to leave it there as proof to mean ole Travis that she did send it to Abe. Removing it from the header or copying and pasting proves nothing. Other than she just wrote it herself and "pretended" to send it to Abe.

I didn't see that at all. I could be wrong but ... I've watched her interrogations at least twice each and her other interviews. Not for what I 'wish' to see but truly study her. She gets that glaze eye when (what I think she is doing ) lasering in, focusing herself to not react. Watch her interrogations and in court. She gets that look from her court room chair too! Always the sociopath, wheels spinning thinking they are so smart.

It was mostly a vibe she was giving off. It was pretty subtle, and it came in short bits, but I definitely

That stood out. Travis just doesn't seem intelligent enough to be able to use the word "muse" correctly in a sentence, based on his horrific spelling in a lot of the text messages.

He seemed to be quite intelligent to me. Under right circumstances I could see him using "muse" thoughtfully and correctly. It was more the timing of its use. You know how when the body is under stress or in peril, it doubles up oxygen and blood to your most vital areas of the body and puts the rest of the body on rations. I think for men, any sexual activity or higher than average probability of sexual activity on the horizon, results in the similar blood oxygen supply. So main most important part of the body is getting the most, whereas the brain gets rations because you're at goal line, why waste resources. I know my language and writing skills wouldn't be firing as well if sexual activity was imminent, and it would be stronger for a man. That's why it stood out to me. Looks like it was glaring inconsistency for both of us. Thanks for sharing your observations.
