We have forgotten how to be good guests; how to walk lightly on the earth as its other creatures do.
Like wasthinking, I am here for the discussion of the case.
And for the record I am team Travis all the way; there seems to be a few that may be team Jodi, or lukewarm either way. I guess as they say, that is what makes it interesting, agree to disagree, whatev, but there is a jodisinnocent site for the diehard Jodi fans. I am not here to argue or make cyber friends, though some of you seem very nice and intelligent.
Geez, i tried to come up with a username (can i change it somehow?) that would totally not apply to me, as not knowing who lurks here, would not want anyone to find out who i really am so needed one i have not used anywhere else. I just can't get into this lovey dovey light hearted stuff, but I will say that everyone seems accepting of that stance, so don't take it personally wasthink. Just take and add what you can!
right on!! he did try to get rid of her, she kept coming around; i still don't think he wanted her visit on June 4 but knew he could not stop her, i do think he was in fear of her as Dr. Karl Hiatt (father of a former roommate who took Travis in as family, they were so fond of him) has said in several interviews. http://www.hlntv.com/video/2013/01/1...-his-own-death
She would show up many times unannounced and unwanted, as testified by Lisa and Mimi. IMO, he was too nervous to sleep that night, and the fact the sexy time did not begin until 1 p.m. he was not eager, in all liklihood was explaining he was moving on without her, until she finally seduced him to tire him out and get him in the shower eventually. She was running late for the murder but needed the opportunity and the surprise factor which finally came at 5:30. Now she is in a hurry to beat it before Enrique gets home. Hence a few incriminating pieces of evidence, thankfully!
my thought on her braided hairdo, is you don't want a bunch of hair in your face when your are going to heinously murder someone!
Well your "brief and factual" tone comes off rude in my opinion. Especially when there's no please or thank you attached. She doesn't work at Estrella and was giving you her facts. Your response was
Which wasn't a 'oh thanks for looking but I'm wondering about Estrella.' You may not intend it but I'm sure I'm not the only person that read it that way. You can be factual while being polite IMO.not buying generalities.
You didn't answer my question, how many in THAT Arizona jail.
I too am team Travis. He may have been a lot of the things that are being said but he did not deserve to be a dead guy. He may have been a Jack-Mormon behind closed doors or in the cover of darkness but did not deserve the untimely demise. Jodi at anytime could have chosen to walk away but she stayed because she thought he was a keeper and he would grow to love and appreciate her. Isn't that what we all want and hope for ?
When in all reality she was his dirty little secret.
It was at the hand of Jodi that she chose a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Now she must and will pay the price for her actions. I feel that she unfortunately will not get the death penalty, due to a sympathetic jury pool that does not like to whack women ..but she will and should due to the overwhelming evidence get life with no hope of parole.
Jodi's downward spiral started from the very beginning when she gave up the coochie to quick ...if she had held out and had just a tad more self esteem we would not be having this 800+ thread about how fucked up she is. Maybe Travis would have seen her in a different light if she had been a little more reserved and maybe she could have been the girl that Travis wanted to find. But she is and was a creature of habit and lost all of Travis's respect from the very beginning.
I feel bad that the family is having to endure all this trash talking and smugness from the defense, I know I would not be able to see one of my loved ones portrayed in such light.
I was thinking about this case again last night, and I remembered in the opening statement DefenderSarahPalin said "Jodi made a choice that day, she could either choose to live, or she could choose to die", sooo basically, they're saying Travis was a murderer. No. Fucking. Way. Travis was an arrogant, money hungry, not a good mormon, horny dude. He was NOT a murderer. Jodi is. It makes me hate her even more that she's going to butcher him and then turn around and say HE was the murderer here, not her. This is why she deserves death. She shows no remorse whatsoever, and is putting his family through this hell, and calling her VICTIM the murderer.

I'm only this far....
This.
The Hal helping you is a CO. This is her job. Trust that she isn't yanking your chain. You feel this way because you forgot your manners, that's all.
Yes....it's crazytown up in here. I just woke up, have they caught him yet?
Man she's pure evil.
Yes but they were already broken up by a year... I'm not sure she would have been coddled the way she wanted after that much time.
Well said. I completely agree.
This. Lol
I agree.
I hate this. I realize in court its normal to rip each other to shreds but this guy was far from a bad guy. He was just a guy. Many of my friends have dated douchier men and they didn't kill them.
I've been working as a 911 operator and police dispatcher for going on 5 years and mixing humor with the madness that is human existence is the only way we deal with the job. It's what I liked about this forum from the start. Life is too short for gods sake. damn
I just want to add my opinion, here.
BOTH Travis and Jodi are unlikeable people. These two had the misfortune of meeting each other and engaged in a deadly dance together. Travis seemed to think he could treat most women like shit and never be held accountable for it.
Jodi was fixated and determined to make him pay with his life for egging her on. NEITHER made wise decisions. I've known men like Travis and wished them straight to hell for their game playing and their obnoxious fixation on nookie. My own brother is one of them. I haven't spoken to him for over ten years because he played the same games as Travis. He did it with one of my best friends.
He's lucky to still be alive. Not just because of my best friend (who only cried and felt demoralized), but because of how many OTHER women he's treated like shit. One, in particular, was a hard core bitch who carried a knife everywhere she went.
For what it's worth: Again, I think both of them are / were unlikeable jackasses. Travis paid with his life, and Jodi will now pay with her own life.

I know there are some jodi support pages out there with a few nutty members, but is anybody here "Team Jodi"? Well besides, Ron, but that doesn't count.
Travis, what can I say to you that I haven't already said? I am so grateful for the endless hours of conversation and amazing experiences we've shared. Thank you for having the courage to share the Gospel with me. You've had one of the greatest impacts on my life, and have forever altered it's course for the better. I love you, my friend, and always will.

It took me a few minutes to find Jodi's comment. She has nerve to post on his memorial site. She is truly a bitch.
