Yeah, but "over the top" for her. And she can't even remember what was said. I would go so far as to believe that she thought was over the top....but that isn't saying anything. She may have been very sheltered and never heard adults argue before. We just don't know. Not enough info for me...done even know how her testimony qualified for court. Weak.
Bold.I knew you would come back with an excuse as to why their testimony was invalid. Though when it IS praise, it's perfectly and unarguably valid. Love how that works.
No one wants to demonize anyone, just acknowledge there are three sides to every story. His side, her side and the truth. I don't defend Jodi, and if that's your assertion you obviously don't pay attention to my posts, which is just as well because you seem to have trouble understanding.
Sorry about your bff and yeah, that might have something to do with it. I'm not picking on you. I'm responding to your posts. You have your opinions and I have mine. I can discuss them without getting beside myself as you are. Again, if my posts affect you this way, don't read them. There's also an ignore option in your preferences.
Thanks, I only brought it up because I assumed any bullet to the head would immediately incapacitate you - but it sure didn't in her case. After reading all the other posts about the ME's testimony though (thanks you guise!), it appears he was indeed shot last. Sad stuff.
You are talking to a woman who has laughed in the face of death, sneered at doom and chuckled at catastrophe.
...Collector of Chairs. Reader of Books. Hater of Nutmeg...
For the record...I love discussing this and seeing other people's perspectives and opinions. I hope I don't offend anyone with my opinion.
Msmichie...I'm so sorry about your friend and her family. How horrific. :(
MsMichie, I'm sorry for the loss of your BFF and her children. That's horrible. I hope the people involved never see the outside of the prison.
Thank you all for your condolences... it was awful. Her in the coffin was the worst.
They are in prison without parole. I was good with that. Two girls were there at the time with the two guys and they just stood there and let them kill her brutally. He just wanted the bitch to die over his stealing $50 bucks and being asked by my friend not to come back to her home. His girlfriend was homeless and my friend took her in to give her a place to live. He took offense to that and killed her for it.
She testified the trip was after her Graduation. There is no way she could have been 13 or 14 graduating.
She has already done her 18 month mission in England and is a SENIOR in college.
There was no testimony that she lived a 'pretty sheltered' life. We've seen some examples how some Mormonn's are so sheltered after all. Being Mormon is not living in a cave.
Lisa was younger than this gal when she was makiing out with Travis and being a strong minded female.
Holy crap, I am so sorry for your loss and their suffering. Thats terrible. I've only been in this board for one night and you really hit home with me. I always know the story of the attacker and the victim. Never the survivors. Again, I am sorry.
P.S. You live in my city. We're neighbors.
Glasshat, it's true that Lisa Diadone said those things in her email. BUT, and you seem to forget, she also said that after she complained to Travis about those things, he quit doing them. That shows a man who was unaware of how his actions were effecting others and a man who was willing to change.
Couldn't have been much happening upstairs. Daniel chased them up there to stick his nose in again and the def obviously didn't get him to testify Jodi was on the floor bleeding or bruised.
What he did say is, they had nothing more than normal couples squabbles.
