My other question - Unless he had a knife block and no other knives how are they sure there wasn't a knife missing? We have a drawer full of knives, spatulas, utensils, etc... At my house there are a couple sets of knives that aren't complete. Am I the only one with incomplete sets of dishes, knives, silverware etc?

Jodi is ambidextrous. She's been shown in court writing with her left and her right hand.

Also, I am left handed but do a lot of things right handed. Like, cut with scissors, hold a blow dryer, use a camera. I could write with my right hand if needed, but it wouldn't be very neat or legible.

I've heard people saying she writes with her right hand. I've never seen her use anything other than her left hand. I must not be paying close enough attention or something. Have we heard from police or family saying she is ambidextrous?

In the shower pictures he doesn't look like that big of a guy. He actually looks pretty slender. In the picture where he is laying in the shower already dead he looks horribly bloated to me. I know everyone says he wasn't that bloated, he was just a big guy but if you look at the shower pictures I just don't see it.

The autopsy report states slightly heavy-set. I would agree with that. I thought those pictures were being taken because Travis wanted to see the progress of the weight he was losing for Cancun. I read that somewhere, but have been so many places and read so many things, I couldn't tell you where or if it were true. That may also be why Jodi freaked out. He was losing weight "for" Mimi and Cancun and didn't care that he was a "fatty" with Jodi.

You're definitely not alone. This sort of crossed my mind when I heard them answer, "No" as well. The one thing I thought of though, was my husband when I met him. He had a full set in a block and no other knives in drawers or anything--no hand-me-down stuff.

I'm not sure why I made the connection, other than maybe it's a "guy thing"? Maybe they are more apt to get rid of stuff when they move and replace it?

That is exactly my thinking as well. He was a bachelor with a very neat and tidy house...very nice furnishings, etc. I think he probably had an exact amount of knives and they were able to determine that none were missing.

I have a Jack and Jill bathroom (I think that's what it is called) My sink is in the hallway and a door opens into the bathroom with the shower, tub, and toilet.

I keep a knife in my Jack and Jill (by the sink) but my reason is because of the dog. He loves to go in the bathroom and shut the door. Then he does something with his paw that locks it. That's why I have the knife. To unlock the door and save the dog.

Maybe Jodi carries around a "sex bag" She keeps a knife, ties, and KY jelly in it for kinky sex. Just a guess.

So on In Session right now, there's some woman that claims she's a body language expert. She's watching the interrogation tape of Jodi when she does that crazy bizarre stretch. The 'expert' says; "Any time you see behavior like this it's indicative that they have murdered someone". This is why it's hard for me to take these 'experts' seriously. I mean, she could have said "Behavior like this is indicative of nervousness, perhaps from guilt" or something similar, but no, she said this behavior is indicative that she murdered someone. Sorry, I just find that lol worthy.

I was thinking the same thing!! I have knives in a block with some missing already, some attached to a magnet strip on the wall (for easy access) and in 2 different drawers...all over the place basically. No one would ever know if one was missing in my house. Did they have an inventory sheet of all his utensils they checked off??

I do think it's interesting that Lisa has deleted her entire online presence, including her Blogspot account. I was able to get to it two weeks ago. Now, it's completely gone.

It does seem like she's doing everything in her power to hide--maybe so they can't serve her a subpoena and force her to testify? I know she's on the witness list for the defense.

In her shoes, I'd probably do that too. I'm a private person. I'd be mortified if thousands of complete strangers were knocking my name about on the internet and creeping my online presence. I'd be hiding too.

He was a big guy. I'd like to see the pictures you're looking at that you see him as slender. Not being snarky. He looks hefty in all of his pics to me.

Well, no, I don't think he's obese, but he was at least 200 pounds before death according to the ME. I think he was 189 during autopsy. The ME says that your weight goes down after death and even more so depending on blood loss. Travis had a lot of blood loss. Also, the ME noted minimal bloating.

He does not look hefty to me in the shower pics. There are pictures of him out there where he does look hefty, but I think he must have lost some weight. Total weight is not always indicative of how "fat" you are.

I imagine they asked the roommates if they saw any knives missing. Could also be a guy thing. My son knows all of the knives in our house. He enjoys sharpening them.

I just wonder how the defense is going to call this self defense. If Jodi didn't get the knife from Travis' kitchen, then how did she have it available to get the upper hand when he "came at her"? We saw the shower pics, so we know it is highly unlikely that he had the knife and came after her. He was naked in the shower. So what is she trying to say? He came at me and I just happened to have a knife and gun in my purse to protect myself, just in case? We saw Travis moments before his death and it is clear there was no weapon in his possession. Why couldn't she just run out of there when the naked, sopping wet Travis rushed her and tried to harm her without a weapon? It makes no sense at all.

Also, regardless of the knife being from Travis' house or not, it shows her intent to kill him and blows the self defense theory out. Then it's just the hinge of 1st or 2nd degree murder. If he rushed her, like she claims, how does that allow her to run and get the knife and come back to kill him? We know he didn't follow her to the kitchen and back to the bathroom. So again, not self defense.

Re-watching interviews on Insession - find it interesting when she was in the middle of getting into the ninja story she immediately jumped back in time to when she was on the road toward Arizona and calling and telling Travis she was coming to his place and how happy he was about that and then when she got there how Napolean was so happy to see her, etc etc. Like she was trying to stall and figure out how to tell the ninja story so she tried to distract Flores for awhile.
