I agree, and wasn't her overall IQ 112? I'm thinking that's what was said. If so, 112 is not a high IQ. It's considered high average. They said she scored exceptionally high in verbal comprehension. Overall, she's of normal intelligence.

I agree, that is annoying to me too.

Arias has made some incredibly dumb mistakes. She strikes me as of average intelligence but with above average reading and verbal skills. She can't quite carry that off convincingly though and sometimes sounds like a parrot reciting words to impress. Reading and writing skills do not denote high intelligence necessarily. These basic skills can reflect education level or a natural aptitude and they are relatively easy to measure. This leads some people to overlook other skills that are harder to assess but important. Being of average intelligence doesn't mean you can plan the perfect murder. Arias tried her best, propelled by her overwhelming arrogance and self belief. Let's hope this jury has common sense.

I consider Arias a complete & utter dumbfuck. She just TRIES to convince everyone that she's more intelligent than the rest of us.

While my stomach was queasy all day yesterday, I am feeling confident about this jury .. surely they feel an enormous burden in judging this creature which is why they are taking their time.

With respect to Arias' s intelligence, remember she told the female.officer who kept saying how smart she was that perhaps she (female officer) was giving her too much credit for being smart. I though t that was an interesting exchange
