I'm super protective of her as well. I really believe that she (and most of the other friends/family) of Travis just want to get the truth out there. They just want to let everyone know how he really was - not the vial lies Jodi spews out of her pie hole.
Yip Yip! I am glad they are out there! They are amazing people to go through all this for Travis.

And coconut will just have to answer to us women in here if he doesn't protect her! Here it COCONUT? lol

I actually like Dr. Drew. Is that bad? I feel most the ppl on there are pro Travis. I have found out a lot about Travis, and his friends that have been on and bring videos and photos and stuff. I loved Deanna. I think she is such a sweetheart and I don't think they will treat her with anything but respect. She will let us in a little bit to her relationship w/ him and more of what Travis was like. I sure wish he would have chosen her.

Coconut I thought you liked Deanna? You said the sweetest things about her and made all the women in here swoon a little after you

So is it that you don't like Dr. Drew? Out of all the shows on HLN I woulda thought that you would like his the best since he has a LOT of women on it? no?

I wish I was as strong as Deanna. She has my admiration. Dr Drews's show is great. Last night a lawyer had fog swirling around him, lol. I hope Nancy Grace has a strawberry frap and cinabun on air.

If she can tweet from jail then they they can defend their friend! Stabby is such vile being.

She was poised on the witness stand.

Alyce, Samuels and Geffner should watch her testimony and take a lesson how to testify.

I guess JAII forgot about the doggy door that Jodi crawled through.

Me too re Napoleon and Deanna. He is quite elderly now and I know she will take care of him like he was her child. That pic of him she took, curled up in his little bed, tucked in with a crocheted blankie...

To us, that have been looking at this case for months and discussing it and know more details than the jury does. It seems to most of us that they should have come to a quick verdict but we can't imagine what its really like for those 12 people right now.
Yessss MJoy. We have been deliberating for 4 months, but the jurors have not had that opportunity to discuss the evidence other than in juror questions, I respect their taking the time to review what they have heard and discuss it amongst themselves for their bearings, I know, for me, having you all here to talk to about this case that I have admittedly become obsessed with has been a great insight for debate and opportunity to ask questions of you all for me. Can you imagine being in their situation for 4 months of what would obviously be the major focus of their lives and NOT be able to talk to anyone about it. They deserve this time to compare notes, ask each other questions, and review the evidence presented.

PS: OT but want to say to anyone who has seen the interview of the guy who helped save the girls from Cleveland.....I think I see a video coming out much in the way of "Hide your children, hide your wives" and "Ain't nobody got time for that". Feel free to smite me. I deserve it for posting OT.

I agree, that is annoying to me too.

Arias has made some incredibly dumb mistakes. She strikes me as of average intelligence but with above average reading and verbal skills. She can't quite carry that off convincingly though and sometimes sounds like a parrot reciting words to impress. Reading and writing skills do not denote high intelligence necessarily. These basic skills can reflect education level or a natural aptitude and they are relatively easy to measure. This leads some people to overlook other skills that are harder to assess but important. Being of average intelligence doesn't mean you can plan the perfect murder. Arias tried her best, propelled by her overwhelming arrogance and self belief. Let's hope this jury has common sense.

Enrique's girlfriend was feeding him. He had a doggie door, remember? He was not locked in the bedroom, but a gate had been put up on the stairs, which Travis never did.
That's what they are saying. "Why didn't anyone smell decomp?" It's like any facts go out the window.

I wonder if this is partly a security measure... but I'm hoping it means they don't want to waste any time, especially since they started late.

Sneakers I'm looking at that Juan Martinez M1 Trap. Interesting!

Stabby tries to capitalize on her verbal skills but her reading skills/comprehension, as Dr Jill Hayes revealed on the stand are only at a 12th grade level.

Having a high IQ does not make a person smart in every sense of the word. She didn't get her GED until she was in jail. She uses to taunt her own mother about getting more education, according to Sandy Arias's police interview.

The hypocrisy/irony of her taunting her own mother apparently escapes her narcissistic self.

The facts of the case speak loud and clear. I can't imagine any right-thinking person would need to be told anything more at this point. I see "trying to dispel all the awful things" more as a rationalization for people seeking their slice of fame. I also believe that the public perception of Travis does not matter - he was not a public figure, and we only know of him through our interest in the trial as a perverse form of entertainment.

Absolutely. I think it's better not to dignify the circus atmosphere of HLN by participating. Those shows exploit the trial. And we have seen "some people" who knew Travis exploit HLN for exposure and face time, far beyond what was required to "set the record straight".

With the emotions involved, I can't see any benefit for Deanna or Travis in her appearing on the show. I am sure the producers are thrilled to have her because it opens up all kinds of juicy storylines they can promote. It's just a trainwreck waiting to happen, we have seen others lose their dignity in the glow of the cameras from behind their makeup...
