i may be working on a concept map right now, but it's very satisfying knowing that all those care plans i poured my heart and soul into were 'satisfactory.' and maybe my instructor doesn't hate me. hate is a strong word. she at least finds me to be satisfactory some of the time.

Date went well .. four and a half hours, no lag in conversation, enjoyed his company ... but he called the next day to say the fact I don't drive is a drawback which I totally get. He was polite and apologetic ... classy. Sigh, dating is no easier now ... I liked the guy.
Then, I get a call from my dermatologist that two lesions I asked to be checked out are basal.cell cancer and squamous cell and I have to go back for additional tx (cutting) ... so I stayed off this site as I was feeling sorry for myself. But pity party is over ... so I'm back.

My daughter is picking me up today to spend weekend with my grandsons .... I have my eye on Patrick's cat Phoebe ... a beautiful one year tabby he got as a rescue from Mississippi .... their rescue dog Roxie they got from a kill shelter in NC. Love the names and these two animals ... grandkids are kind of adorable too.

got into see the neurologist six weeks ahead of schedule. we decided not to do botox, since my goal is to get off my meds next year and ttc. so i'm going back on a beta-blocker but one i haven't tried before. more importantly i get to taper OFF OF THE TOPAMAX! worst drug EVAR. she agreed i shouldn't be taking it while i'm in school, anyway. ugh.
i'm 90% done with my resume, letter of intent, and application for my first RN job.

Went to follow up with dermatologist on Monday. Doctor said the two skin cancer spots were very localized, caught very early and he.proceeded to re-scrape and cauterize the one on my cheek and cut into my thigh and cut out a piece and stitched up my thigh. My daughter insisted on taking me and she sat and watched the whole procedure and enjoyed it a little too much. Hopefully that will be all that is needed.
