Every time a plane flies over the house my 19 month old runs to the window screaming AIRPLANE, super cute at first but now months later and like 30 planes a day.. Not so cute lol

You should be thankful that you have a healthy child that is bright and engaged with the world around them. I see too many children everyday that don't have the ability to run to the window or recognize or articulate what an airplane is.

Although I have discovered that I can hold a blow dryer with the crook of my arm AND wash cups if I wedge them into the garbage disposal opening.

we went out for burritos (because he didn't want to try the new taco place i suggested, that has the most amazing tacos in this town) and they fucked up his burrito so he ate his dinner and more than half of mine.

i seriously hate everything today and want to start fires. he wants me to see a show with him later but i feel like i should just stay home, do homework, and be fucking angry.

I made delicious chicken nachos tonight. On the heels of a miserably painful day, it was lovely to eat in peace and relax with some telly.

I was in a weird half cast after surgery on my ulnar nerve (funny bone) from my armpit down. The bottom was hard, but the top side was soft wrapping. I had to wear it for a couple weeks and it was summer time. The stitches began to itch and I would probe the wrap on the top with a straw to get inside to scratch it. It sucked and it wasn't even a real cast. I no longer have a funny bone in my elbow.

My daughter broke her wrist in elementary school. She had some emotional days. She spilled countless glasses of milk with it..lol. She would get annoyed because people would comment "good thing it's your left arm", except she's left handed. We put powder inside the cast to help when it became itchy. She would also stick various small things down it to scratch the itch. By the time it was due to be cut off, she could almost slide her arm out. I don't know if it stretched as it got older, or if the swelling went down as it healed.

It sucks that your is over the elbow. After a while, I got an insane urge to straighten my arm...LOL

I hope your pain gets better. It sounds miserable.

So disappointed in #mumfordandsons . 5 years ago I was driving down the road and I heard a song on the radio and I called the radio station to find out the artist, bought the cd and was in love.

2012 I go see them in Monterey for the Gentleman of the Road tour. I bugged all my friends for months on facebook, no one knew who they were.

2013 they came out with the new album and finally they get WORLD WIDE SUCCESS! I was so proud of my band.

Tonight. They are on SNL and I hate them. I HATE THEM! They changed everything. Why? I named my god damn cat after you.. Now what?

So, so, so disappointed...

I can't take the sickness away from my daughter. She's been puking for hours, it was like hours in between...now we're lucky if it's 30-45 mins in between. I wish it were me

after spending 2 whole days with them, i can honestly say that hippies have the worst style in the known universe. nothing matches or fits well. i couldn't randomly pull shit out of my closet and come up with an uglier outfit than most of the people i met this weekend.

also, i can't for the life of me understand why anyone would go to a two day festival to hear bands that play the exact same thing. literally - all grateful dead songs all weekend long. each band played for what seemed like hours and none of the songs ever actually ended.

*sigh*
