Stepmom of accused Pa. baby killer says she would?ve made room for child
Relatives of a Pennsylvania woman who allegedly gave birth in a bathroom of a sports bar before placing the baby in a trash bag and stuffing it in a toilet tank say they would "make room, find a way" if she ever got pregnant.
Speaking outside their Allentown home Monday, Amanda Hein's shocked stepmother, Louiseann Hein, burst into tears upon hearing of the 26-year-old's charge of criminal homicide ? one punishable by death.
"I told her she always had a home here," Louiseann Hein told the Morning Call. "We would make room. Would find a way."
It was just after her stepdaughter received a letter in the mail from Planned Parenthood after moving in with her in January that she remembered starting up this conversation of ?What if??

Hein's stepmother is still trying to get over the shock, having had no clue she was even pregnant.
In January, Hein moved in with her after living with a boyfriend for six months, she said.
She worked at a dog day care business in Allentown and, when she came home from work, generally kept to herself by watching movies in her bedroom.
