Family just left with Juan.
Sigh.
Jodi is in there.
Her mama is sad.
Are they going to read this damn thing?
A little bit more makeup than usual today?
Hung fucking jury.
You can hear Travis' family sobbing. That's sad.
Hung jry!
GOD JOB MARTINEZ! YOU BLEW IT TWICE!
How could they not use the alts? This is insanity. What total bullshit.
As soon as I heard the crying I knew.
Damnit.
I'm disappointed. juries are so unpredictable. I guess that's what makes the world go round.....

THis is crazy! I don't understand how/why 2 mistrials? It's not like they don't know she actually did it.
Can someone explain why there is sentencing if it's a mistrial?
The mistrial is declared on the sentencing phase only
I think this one was predictable. We had the previous trial sentencing phase and this one turned out the same. The defense changed their approach but the prosecution tried the same thing and expected a different result (isn't that the definition of insanity?).
Major props to Nurmi and the computer expert, I think the clouds of confusion over that was a major factor in sparing her from the death penalty, along with her meek physical appearance.
The Prosecution should really take a long look in the mirror. If you can't get a death penalty conviction on two tries at a slam dunk case like this you are doing something very wrong.
Another hung jury? Are you kidding me?

A jury in Phoenix said on Thursday it had failed to reach a verdict in the sentencing phase retrial of convicted murderer Jodi Arias, meaning the former waitress from California will not be executed for killing her ex-boyfriend in 2008.
Not surprised at all. She joins a long line of infamous females...
