THis is crazy! I don't understand how/why 2 mistrials? It's not like they don't know she actually did it.

This was the death penalty phase. She was already found guilty.
My heart just broke for his family.
If she isn't given life without parole this judge should go to jail also. How she allowed them to do what they did to Travis' name was unreal.

I think this one was predictable. We had the previous trial sentencing phase and this one turned out the same. The defense changed their approach but the prosecution tried the same thing and expected a different result (isn't that the definition of insanity?).
Major props to Nurmi and the computer expert, I think the clouds of confusion over that was a major factor in sparing her from the death penalty, along with her meek physical appearance.
The Prosecution should really take a long look in the mirror. If you can't get a death penalty conviction on two tries at a slam dunk case like this you are doing something very wrong.
