Saw the German film Phoenix today .... powerful, intense, well acted and directed .... I'm a sucker for artsy films ... loved this movie.

I started watching St. Vincent last night, have about 30 minutes left to go. So far I think it's freakin great.

Crimson Peak was so awful boring and disappointing.
I wanted to see that yesterday but couldn't talk my friend into its so we compromised on The Martian which we enjoyed.
Shame about Crimson Peak .... wasn't it visually stunning? I thought it was supposed to be that at least.

I just watched this, and I was crying my eyes out at the end. I was hoping for a funny movie. It was a good movie though.

Did I mention I saw that Johnny Depp movie Black Mass?
It wasn't great, but I think it was underrated. There were slow moments and it was a little long, but the story was great and he did a great job in the role.
The Martian: What happens when Ridley Scott makes a positive movie about space. Very well acted and entertaining while watching it but didn't stick with me.
The Last Witch Hunter: As awful as any Vin Diesel movie, probably will watch again
Crimson Peak: Horrible
Ex Machina: BORING

It was actually confirmed by some people on reddit and if the reviews that were released this morning mean anything....they match up.
