Dustyn Martin (32) found dead - was last seen 7/25/2026 in Sherman, TX

Loved ones and law enforcement are searching for a Sherman man who has been missing since Saturday.

Dustyn Martin, 32, was wearing a black shirt and khaki pants when he was last seen.

He was reportedly last seen at Herman Baker Park, with his scooter being seen entering the park Sunday morning.

Thursday afternoon, Sherman police announced that the park was closed for an investigation, and they confirmed that it was closed in an effort to find Martin.

That's really sad. I wonder if they think it was suicide.

The comments on that post seem to point to the police not really searching very hard. There are those that are defending them, but the track record with police and searches has me believing that they did the usual and didn't really put much effort in to it.

I looked and the park is 83 acres, so even though the police closed the park to search for him, that is a lot of land to cover.
