    Santa Claus (75) arrested in child sex sting in New Orleans, LA

    A 75-year-old Louisiana man who legally changed his name to Santa Claus was arrested after authorities alleged he used a dating app to arrange a meeting with someone he believed was a 15-year-old boy during an undercover child exploitation operation.

    Santa Claus, of New Orleans, was arrested June 26 on charges of computer-aided solicitation of a minor and indecent behavior with a juvenile.
    Per the release, Claus is accused of initiating contact with an undercover detective posing as a 15-year-old boy through a dating application. During their conversations, investigators allege he discussed engaging in sexual acts before arranging to meet the purported teen.

    Detectives took Claus — who sports a thick head of white hair and a long, bushy beard — into custody without incident after he arrived at the predetermined meeting location, police said.
