I like marketplace because I don't want to have to deal with shipping....I'm not going to UPS and forking up money just so you can get my used Hello Kitty keychain.

I am far too lazy to use Marketplace, or any other place where I can sell stuff. I have bunch of guitars that I never learned to play and never will, that I could easily sell, but instead I'm probably just gonna load them all up in the car with a bunch of other stuff and drop it off at a donation place. It's an hour out of my day and it's all gone.

That's what I do at this point. Sometimes I think about having a garage sale but then I return to sanity and just donate it all.

What kind of guitars do you have?

Marketplace is easy for a lazy person (the reason I use it!) lol. I know I could get more for stuff if I did ebay, or Poshmark, or Mercari - but like I mentioned, I am too lazy to go ship it. Marketplace I can just have someone come to my house and I just bring it outside for them.

That's the problem. I don't want anyone at my house or knowing where I live. I don't want some crazy deciding that something I sold them isn't the way they thought it should be and then coming back to shoot me over it.

That's how I used to feel, when years ago my hubby sold our old couch on craigslist. I was like, you gave them our address??? lol. It's just so common now, usually anything I buy from there, I go to the person's house. Of course, I don't do anything once it's dark, or go in anyone's house.

Some people will do porch pick up which I don't get - if the item is cheap, okay. But how are you going to sell something for hundreds and you tell them to leave the cash under the mat?? I don't trust people that much, too many thieves.
