Yesterday sucked hard. I hope today is better. Bringing boxes to my moms, I hurt my back bc I didnt have help. I was carrying a plastic tub,and it was broken. The broken piece got caught on my bubble jacket and ripped a hug hole in it. Fuck yesterday.

Do you know the younger generation can literally not come up with new music? My son was singing Bye Bye Bye and my nephews fave song is Bad Romance.

Austin was watching a video and Spacehog In The Meantime was playing. I fucking love that song. It hits me in the good feels. It makes me miss the 90's. I bet Nic does even know that song lol.

I hate when I spend so much time cleaning and organizing, and it goes to shit because they don't really care. Ugh.
All the sudden Rubbermaid Lids are starting to break for me. The entire set seems to be expiring at the same time so soon I will have to get rid of some containers to lower the containers with no lids percentage

It seems like their quality isn't as good as it used to be, as they used to last forever.

It is not good anymore and funny that the lids are all breaking around the same time. Going to switch to Glass containers when more of these plastics break.

I prefer the glass ones nowadays...especially given things like tomato sauce does not leave a stain on them like the plastic containers tend to do.

Yes! Originally got a set of these for stuff like leftover Spaghetti. The glass cleans so well from any food in it

The only downside to glass is they are heavy....the plastic ones are much lighter. Other than that, glass is way better.

Yeah I just use glass tupperwear now. The shitty thing is I only have smaller containers.

Ive kept and hoarded the old plastic stuff though

That's how big plastic gets ya! One breaks, then another and pretty soon you're funneling all your spare $$ into replacing the lids ... Oddly enough yesterday the Mr and I were discussing replacing our entire set of lidded storage dishes. Odd that, or is big plastic watching and listening???????

Good point I did not think of this even though I have dropped glass jars of Pickles or Jam on my foot 2 or 3 times since I hit adulthood.

my clumsiness is mostly height related. When you're 4' 10" (and shrinking) pulling a stack of them off a shelf above your head becomes an act of bravery.

I have noticed that there is an upswing of cat violence/killing/mutilation in movies. It so happens the last 2 movies I saw had it, and the show Coldwater Im watching, because Rick, has had horrid horrible cat torture/death scenes.

I dont know why this is a thing.

I am completely and totally over this weather. We had cold and snowy last week then warmer and nicer w/ sunshine. Today it's 9 degrees and feels like minus 1. Mother Nature needs to take her damn meds. My Raynauds is all over the place and I am just over it.

I am so sorry. As someone who also has it, I can only imagine how horrible it is for you with that low of temperatures. Do you have hand warmers?

It's so warm here, I had to turn my AC on in my house! Can't believe I did that in February. I mean, it's not like summer weather, but it got in the 70's.

Im so sorry to hear this. This weather is fucking ridiculous, Im sorry to hear you are in pain. Im sure Rudy is not pleased as well.

In stupid Ohio is was nice last week too, and it was freezing rain this morning. My sister has a huge downhill driveway, and I have almost died on it like ten times, so I said if anything becomes of this ice, they are walking from a street over. Which is hard for my niece because shes 5, and itty bitty.

I do and they are used but this season my feet are really feeling it. We just need to pick a damn season and finish it before the next one gets here!!

AC in February is amazing. Our electric bill is going to be huge, between the heat clicking on and the sump pump going off so often, cha-ching. We are due for the high 50s/low 60s this weekend, I may need to lather up w/ sunscreen!

I have friends who are facing some ice falling out of the sky on them. It's as bad as snow, sometimes worse.

Fall back, Spring forward. Stupidest shit ever. Starting Sunday Rudy's inner clock will be off by an hour. The only thing I'll be gaining is a confused dog w/ an even more confused bladder.

Didnt they try to not do the time change one year in the 70's or something and kids were getting run over by cars when walking to school since it was so dark?

Yep, the only one who notices in my family is Bailey. Cue the whining for food early because she doesn't understand the time change lol.

I seem to remember this as well, but I'm not sure if that was an urban legend or real. Just like the razor blades in the Halloween candy. Everyone thinks that there were cases of this happening when there hasn't been a documented case ever. It all stemmed from that guy that wanted to kill his kid so laced a huge pixie stick with poison and blamed it on a random house that was giving out candy.

I think the whole thing is stupid. My cat STILL isn't used to "Fall Back".

Anyway, it's all the more confusing since Ireland doesn't "Spring Forward" until the end of March. We're always a couple of weeks off from the U.S. over here.

I got a hole in my 10+ year old Bombas sock, and I dont think they make the pretty pattern anymore
