I thought it was pretty well known she and that Dee Dee bitch did it. If he wandered in the woods they would have found his body, and idk even know what to say about the duct work, he was 7, not 3. He wouldnt climb into that.

We had a story here on a 20something year old who did, and died that way.

But still, him climbing and dying in the ducts is a far fetched theory.

So did he make it to his classroom or not? That pic proves he did, right? If she left with him right after the picture, wouldn't at least ONE person have seen him leaving? I have to confess, I never really followed this one too much.

I don't believe that the step mother did it either. There's no compelling evidence that she did anything. If there is, please direct me to it. They looked long and hard to try to charge her and couldn't come up with anything. Kids wander, they hide in places we wouldn't think to look, and bodies are often missed. If anything I blame the school for not keeping a better eye on a child in their building.

Im 99.99% sure the stepmother did it. There is no other explanation. He wasnt the type of kid to wander, and if he was "walking into his classroom" like Terri claimed, then someone else couldnt have taken him bc he was in class.

I think this is what really sealed the deal for me. If she was capable of plotting his death, she was most certainly capable of doing something to Kyron.

Right? I hadn't heard anything about witnesses when he first went missing so I am not sure if they came forward and reported it to the police or if the author of the book found them.

15 years later, FBI to re-examine Kyron Horman case after files go digital

But on Friday, the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office said that, along with Gresham police, they have been working to digitize the case files for the past year.

“This means scanning and documenting thousands of pages of reports, photos and evidence,” MCSO said.

They add when that process is complete, the file will be re-examined by the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU). According to MCSO, the BAU uses behavior and psychological analysis to go over statements and other evidence. They will then offer recommendations to local law enforcement on how to proceed in the case based on “patterns from similar historic and current cases nationwide.”

MCSO noted they will also meet with Multnomah County District Attorney Nathan Vasquez to assess next steps.

It has to be a new department, because I swore the FBI was on the case before. They kept looking at the "island" where Terri's cell pinged.

Sixteen years after Kyron Horman disappeared from his elementary school, the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office is using new technology and adding investigators to find new leads in the case.

In 2025, the sheriff’s office said it finished digitizing thousands of pages of reports, photos, and evidence.

The sheriff’s office said it hopes new technology will be able to use those pages to find new leads. The sheriff’s office also said it has increased staffing for this case.

A former FBI special agent in charge in Portland said investigators will look at timelines and witness statements.

A $50,000 reward is available for anyone with information that helps solve this case.

Kyron’s parents, Kaine Horman and Desiree Young, said they hope that the renewed investigation will lead to a break in their son’s case.
