It amazes me how many 911 calls. He wanted to catch someone doing something wrong, and THEN some. He wanted to be recognized.
It's one thing to keep an eye on a car riding slow with loud music and see what they're upto, it's a whole nother thing to pick up the phone and call the cops like y'all are buddies!
Curiosity killed the cat. Didn't his mama ever tell GZ to mind his own business? The kid wasn't seen exiting a window. He was just walking. In the old days, if my gramps woulda seen someone walking in the rain, he'd have offered him a ride. Now a days, we dub them "suspicious" and follow them, shoot them, and lie about what happened. GZ lied about what happened, the evidence proves it. TM was found with his hands under him, not out.
It's sad it happened, and GZ needs consequences. I don't know what they should be.

The defense is really bad, though. I wouldn't be surprised if they just know they're fucked and are setting it up so he can appeal based on shoddy representation.

It actually could go both ways. To me there has been too much flip flop with the witness pool to actually get the real story. How many of the actual witnesses really saw what happened and are not afraid to snitch? Perhaps TM felt he was being harassed and had to get his street cred up. Had to be hard core!

I feel bad for her - the lawyer just asked why she didn't go to the wake: "I didn't want to see the body." She said she felt guilty because she was the last person to talk to their son.

She was on the phone with him, as teenagers do, and ended up being the last person to talk to her friend right before he was killed.

I always have said if he looked more like his father instead of the kid that he was no way would GZ would have gotten his coward ass out of his truck. He walked around that complex with his rottweiler and the 9 on his hip, he was a murder waiting to happen.
