I can't imagine the grief and ANGER they must feel:( I know their faith is a grounding force throughout this nightmare, but I hope they have many resources to help them cope. Does anyone know if they're doing ok in that sense?

Hearing Samantha and Stephen today made a strong impact upon me. They were well spoken, their words cut to the heart and the poise that each of them possessed on this day, is way beyond pure strength. I was listening and before I knew, my tears were falling. I felt so sad for them and the loss of their hero brother.
Powerful victim impact staftements. I have had nightmares myself because of some of the photos like the body in the shower and the spit throat. I can only imagine what the family has and is going through.
What a trial morning! I cried throughout Steven's and Samantha's impact statements as many of you did. Travis's light and love is what attracted Jodi to him and what made it impossible for her to let him go. I do not believe in the death penalty, its against my values and against the hippocratic oath. Jodi will never live in the general population, she will be segregated because she is a "celebrity". If she is given LWOP she must pay for her appeals, if she gets dp, we pay for her appeals and to me she is not worth another red cent. She will become a death penalty celebrity and her heinous crime will be forgotten as dp opponents will fight for her life.
Her death, if she gets the dp will be a gentle one. It will be just like going to sleep, no pain, no suffering and no anxiety. I want her to have a natural death, like Richard Speck. When Speck had his heart attack, the health care professionals responded to the code with a very slow walk so he would be dead by the time they got to him. I want that she experience the pain of natural death and face her maker for the ultimate judgment.
I hope this is the last day. It is time to get it over with. As Stephen said, he doesn't want to see or think about a murderer. I also was glad to hear that Samantha shot dagger eyes and Jodi and her family. The class this family exhibits is just amazing. When compared to Arias's family - the laughing, writing of notes for a potential book, are just so disrespectful. A world of difference between these two families.
Seriously? the killer is going to speak? No one is going to believe her. Could Jen or Nurm ask for meds for the killer that would make her cry for this? That's the most crying I think she's actually done? Like she was part of the fam!
Exactly what I was thinking. Had she even met 1 of them?
Quite interesting that you bring up Speck here. Because Speck actually did drugs, had sex with other men and was somehow given female hormones to become a woman. He laughed and had total disregard for authorities. Yes, he may have had a heart attack earlier than expected, but believe me - he had an awesome time in prison. Free food, free sex, free drugs and hormones. He should have been put to death. These people feel no remorse, no guilt and cannot love!
He killed me too. "We had nicknames for each other...Stevis and Traven." That really hit home for me. I have not really seen him express any kind of emotion, never have seen him comfort his sisters, so I thought maybe he wasn't that close to Travis. He mentioned Travis being his big brother, but I don't know how many years apart they are. Also, "I thought my brother was bulletproof." just as you would the people you look up to.
This is going to sound stupid, but I wish Napoleon could give an impact statement. I'm sure he has missed his owner very much.
Does anyone know if they were not allowed to address Jodi by name in their statements? Like Steven stating he will never get the answer to the questions he has of his brothers death "because Jodi Arias refuses to tell us". That kind of thing. Or perhaps they chose not to give her that kind of power by mentioning her.
"so he ejaculated on your face and threw you some candy?"
Nurmi and Willmott are in blue!
Someone had stated that willmott was stone faced. I disagree. I think you can see the emotion in her face as Steven and Samantha speak.
Well that was intense.I thought they were allowed to tell her the hell off too.Was waiting for that part.
I read about it and it seems to me one of the guys who does the crimes shows..can't recall his name but I think he does America's Most Wanted bought the rights to the tape of Speck in jail. It was shown on youtube. I am not sure you can see it any more. But if you do try to Google Speck, you will see him sitting in a chair in white underwear in a blonde wig, doing drugs and he had female breasts. He had his partner there in the cell with him. They talked specifically about drugs, the fact he got hormones and was laughing his ass off at the prison officials.
I'd again like to suggest to people that they use the ignore function rather than replying to the trolls.
Does anyone know if this is true or not?
You'd think they'd at least let her mom make a statement.
It's a really nice tie.
"...Jeffrey Dahmer... actually confessed and accepted his punishment. Had real remorse for the sick things he did. It's pretty bad when Jeffrey Dahmer is a better person than you are." ~Justice11 (re: Jodi Arias)
She can watch the world go by on her tv and listen to music without ever getting the chance to make beautiful memory's with which to remember them by. Sounds good to me!
