Have been lurking since January, but did actually decide I would post on this thread and not the other speeding rocket...though I do read there. Great site, so much info...thanks everyone!

Good first choice! Absolutely, definitely start checking out more than JA. It may be the most active, but it's far from the most interesting. There's some amazing reads here. I'm trying to read back through every page & you can really get lost in the old threads for days. Sometimes I get so engrossed reading the old stuff that I forget there's conversations happening NOW. It's a little quiet in here at the moment -most are tucked up in bed I suppose. It's almost 11pm where I am , so I'm guessing it's very early morning over there. I usually manage to stay up til 2am, only to fall asleep just as things start to get lively at about 9am for you guys. & then I usually time things perfectly & wake up when the day's ending on the other side of the globe. Stoopid timezones. Grrr

ETA gotta go check on sleeping kids & cosy up the outside pets, it's turning cold here. I'll be back..
