Now this may set a few of you off but I was able to listen to the ninja story she told the detective. Do you realize that she told the story of what really happened. There is truth in some of her statements if it benefits her. Here is what happened. I know a lot of you think the prosecution timeline of events is correct but it isn't. She shot him first and here is why I believe that is 100% correct...not that it matters anymore...or really ever did..

In her interview with the detectives where she was pushing her ninja story, she thought she would get away with that story. She knew she shot him first so she used that to say they (the ninjas) shot him first while he was on all 4s and he was 'screaming'. She was trying to make the crime fit what she did. She asked the Det. for pictures but he refused. Flores himself stated at that time that he believed the gunshot was 1st. It's in the interview.
Mesa, Arizona, police Det. Esteban Flores testified that, at some point in the investigation, he thought the gunshot to Alexander's forehead was the first injury. He said that was based on his conversations with Horn.

I'll also go with the opinion of someone who has no skin in the game.

The knife was secondary because the single shot didn't kill him, he was getting up and the gun jammed (my hypothesis). She ran for a knife while he got up and staggered to the sink to look at himself. She started the stabbing in the back, he turned around trying to defend himself where he got his hand wounds, and she stabbed him in the chest. He staggered down the hall, she followed, when he fell, she jumped on him and slit his throat.

    How she did it:
What she did was she got him to sit down in the shower for a picture. She wants the whole thing to end with the gun in the shower for easy disposal of evidence. She pulls out the gun, he turns as he sees it and that's why it enters the side of his head (he defensively turns away) and goes down towards the cheek (because she was above him). If I am not mistaken, the last pic shows him sitting in the shower, facing right. The bullet enters the right side. She shot him first and was trying to make the ninja story fit the order of the crime.
Also notice the last pic doesn't show his face because she was in the process of pulling out the gun while taking the picture. Thus she didn't take a picture with his face in it. She was letting go of the camera at that point.

That's how it really happened IMO. The stabbing in the heart first OR stabbing in the back first doesn't jive with the amount of blood spewed all over the sink. Only a gunshot wound to the head affecting the nasal cavity and mouth would. This guy was also way bigger than her. He was in a compromised position at the sink because of being shot while trying to ward off the knife.

What did she want to happen? Unload the whole gun into him in the shower so he never gets out of it. That was the plan. Easy cleanup to wash away any evidence. If it had happened that way, the only evidence would have been the camera and it wouldn't have had the last 2 pics on it AND she may very well have taken it with her. She may have gotten away with it or at worse a lesser verdict due to just gunshots (and no murder weapon found).
Once he got up, she flew into a psycho rage because she couldn't believe that even though she only fired one shot, to the head, it didn't kill him. Thus the rest of the story.

If I remember correctly, wasn't that the day that Nurmi's wife was brought up? I don't agree with any of that. No posts related to that should have ever happened. Anyone can disagree with me but his wife should have never taken the heat for HIS profession.

    Typos don't bother me.

Point is, there are lots of off topic posts on any given day in this thread, why do you pick 2 random peeps to go after? You make good points in here mostly, as do they. I can't believe that you would be that vendetta orientated. It's like Rambo taking on the town. If someone has wronged you and you can't forgive, at least drop it. It's not worth the fight, there will always be peeps you don't agree with. I have my share and I know of some that don't agree with me but I try not to take it personally. Anyways, I hope that made sense to you and if not then you can add me to your daily list.

I actually agree with a lot of this... every time I listen to her ninja/intruder story, I hear other things that make me think she's describing the actual scene as if she were watching it instead of participating in it.

I just want to hug her tightly. I don?t think she did it at all. How many admit to crimes they have never committed??? She is protecting her family. This was like some sort of mob hit and they threatened her with the killing of her family if she talked. She does NOT fit the typical killer and a cruel one at that.

Correct. It is a glaring flaw in her lying skills once you catch a few of them. When she shakes her head at JM statements, it's not because JM is 'lying' to the jury. For instance, she didn't chase him down the hall. No way he was running, he was staggering. It's because she knows the real story but cannot just stand up and say 'bullshit, he staggered down the hall and when he fell, I pounced on him reached around and slit his throat'. So she shakes her head.

Remember that it took all of 2 minutes and it was a small caliber bullet. It bothers me more that they think he would not be able to fend off a knife attack. Also, what kills easier a gun or knife? She would have to have serious doubts that a knife attack could be successful. Much more sure that a gunshot won't be defended.

That's what I want to see happen because it would be unprecedented. They are low on sodium thiopental so it probably won't happen. She may even know that. I think Arizona has only 1 dose left.
They could do it with Propofol or etomidate or any number of other anesthetic agents, no shortage of those...guess there are specific protocols they have to follow but stp is not the only option out there!

I just want to hug her tightly. I don?t think she did it at all. How many admit to crimes they have never committed??? She is protecting her family. This was like some sort of mob hit and they threatened her with the killing of her family if she talked. She does NOT fit the typical killer and a cruel one at that.
Well this girl is the Svengali over there.... Perhaps when the "real" killers are found, Hodi can date this chick's brother!

Does anyone else think that "we are team Jodi, and we will be victorious" drivel comes from an idiot that saw Galaxy Quest one too many times?

The motto on that movie was "never give up, never surrender"

Oh, stolen from a movie.... Just like the convict.... Sorry, answered my own question!

    Agreed.

I even can totally see that Travis really did say, "Go get help" after she shot him.

Of course, her version of "help" was to stab him repeatedly and slash his throat...

Just in case anyone missed it and wants to see the stink eye that Jodi gives. She was either drugged or told to STFU!

I think HLN's coverage today of the OJ trial is a good preview of what will happen to Jodi over the next few years/decades.

OJ was a major celebrity AND his trial lasted double the length of Jodi's.

And yet, today, when he was back in court, the coverage of his trial (albeit not for the murder of Nicole), was completely overshadowed by the coverage of Jodi's.

    She will fade into obscurity.....
