Thankfully, good behavior won't happen for Arias. She's already violated policies multiple times during her duration behind bars so far. She's clearly just of the mindset that any rules don't apply to her.

i was trying to find the verdict from today and came across this. i've never seen the whole interview before. i can't even sit through the entire thing, but its just another reminder of how twisted and manipulative and self serving she is.

I'm new here (well, I've been reading forever!). I am not surprised by this verdict at all. It seems like the defense team barely put up a fight at all. Makes me wonder if JA really does want the DP.

On that note, I have a question. Perhaps it has been explained already, but what happens to her if she gets LWOP? What will her life be like? Will she be stuck in a cell for 23 hours a day, etc.? I am a terrible Googler and didn't find anything in particular about Arizona. But I did read a few articles about how many prefer the DP because they get numerous opportunities for appeal, and actually have better living conditions that those sentenced to LWOP.

Death row is worse. 23-24hrs a day. Meals in cell. 2 phone calls a week? 3 showers a week. 1 appliance in the cell - tv/radio. No interaction between imates. Total isolation. All the things Jodi would hate. There are ppl who might be able to lead you to info on this I only remember from a link someone posted in here and lost it.

She was the conservative older lady, and had to go first, maybe had a frog in her throat. #2 was referred to as the Trump hair guy; he was a little mysterious because he would squint his eyes and so it looked like he was looking at the CONVICT (not the defendant any more!!), but I decided he was actually looking at the person doing the questioning at the time. Convict may have thought he was eyeing her, someone read her lips once "we got juror 2". She would glance at him while doodling. But he fooled her! I love this jury! So diverse, yet all came to the same conclusion.

Love this jury too! They didn't fall prey to her manipulation! She thinks everyone loves her, so this is new news to her!

I have been wrong about everything. I am now going to say she will get death. For sure. I can't wait to see her reaction.

That will be my favorite moment of the trial. It will be justice for Travis.

From what I understand her Dad will not be making the trip to Phoenix. We haven't seen her younger sister/brother in court since the sex tape was played.

What really can she offer to save herself? She had an opportunity under direct questioning from Nurmi to exhibit some remorse and to say she was sorry and the best she could come up with was "I'm ashamed".

When the jury asked her if she would have ever told the truth had she not been arrested her answer was "I don't know, can't answer that" .

Kind of says it all.

This is pretty much how I feel on this issue too. I would rather that money be spent on things other than Jodi Arias.

No matter how much Jodi suffers (or if she is killed by DP), it will not bring Travis back. This doesn't mean I don't think she should be locked up without parole. But I don't think that the equation of "more suffering for Jodi" = "more relief for Travis's family" is necessarily true.

And I also think that having to face her in appeals for decades on end could be worse than knowing she is going to be locked up until she dies.

IMO, I think this would hurt her more! We never hear about these people again (usually), except when their mugshots are updated every 5-10 years!

My outrageous prediction for tomorrow: She tells them that she wants the death penalty. Not she requests it. That she wants it from them. This is to take the wind out of the sails of the prosecution and the Alexander family. She will not show any sorrow for what she did. She still believes it is justified.

It may not offer the family further relief, but as they have requested this penalty for her, I respect their wishes.

The beginning of the end was long long ago, when Travis met this monster of a daughter on that fateful day at the PPL conference. She should have stuck w/ her gut feeling & not have anything to do w/ PPL.... however, her being such an unstable person, we might have been on this very same thread, but having it be a different name (person) other then Travis.
All around, no matter which way you look at it, it is a sad un-understood illness that one must feel the need to murder.

While that sounds like a very Jodi thing to do I can't really see it happening. Why would the Defense even bother putting on mitigation witnesses -- which apparently they are -- if Jodi is just going to ask for death anyways? Doesn't really click.

I would rep you, but I know that's now what you want. I totally could see her doing this. It keeps her in control in her mind and gives her the last word, which to her is the most important thing. She is desperate to not let them feel like they got anything on her. If she could keep them from giving their victim impact statements I think she wouldn't even think twice about saying the death penalty is what she wants!
