If your BPD Waif cannot get you to rescue them by acting helpless/hopeless and pitiful, he/she will shut you out or rage at you. They're frustrated when their "poor me" tactics fail to get them what they want--and that's when you get lambasted for being a "bad" lover, son/daughter, therapist, etc. The waif mother persistently controls her children in this way. If they don't respond to her victim/martyr act, there's literally hell to pay. The rejection, shame and guilt they're forced to endure, isn't worth failing to respond to her demands.

The Waif deflects your efforts to guide her/him toward more productive or effective solutions with "yah-buts"--or keeps shifting the topic, which is exasperating.

Here is another issue with the roommates-

they were in and out of that house over those 5 days. The smells coming from where Travis had been killed developed gradually over time. I am certain on the 5th day, the smells in that house were much stronger to a stranger than they were to the people who lived there, because the roommates had become slowly acclimated to it - as well as for the other reasons people have stated.

For sure. Plus the fact when the doors to Travis' room leading ultimately to the bathroom were opened, the escaping smell would quickly swamp the house, that would have been nothing like the boys would have smelled previous to this. I believe the air conditioning in Travis' room/bathroom can also be factored in pre the door being opened.

Donavan was on Dateline last night, said she spoke to the Felon. Not sure why this is even occurring because as a convicted felon she shouldn't be able to have contact with another felon. Donavan is still on parole.

In relation to the little boys' pic, she says we were all hanging out. This has obviously been a gathering at a friends house who had a child that age then. I hadn't watched it all as I'm finding her harder to stomach by the minute. But FFS! An innocent occasion, to which she adds the underLYING 'Catholic-priest= paedophile' scenario, which sowed the seeds in her mind. Right. If any such photo does exist and Nurmi wouldn't enter it, there is only one reason why. The parents told him the true story, and JM would have smashed that trash to smithereens had he tried to use it. To be fair to Nurmi, she does claim it was him that wouldn't use it. Or it didn't happen at all. Time will tell, i'm sure.

I can't wait until she is sentenced and hauled out of that courtroom. It will not matter how many interviews she gives on her way out! When the sunsets that day she will go to that tiny cell and fade into nothing until she is executed. She can lay in her bed and use her warped brain to create all the lies she wants, therewill be noone to hear them.

I am torn between the LWOP or DP. Part of me says DP due to the way she will have to live out those years alone in her cell with little to no contact. In general population (LWOP) she will have her social network and as she says with a glimmer of a grin, inmates want to hug her, shake her hand and want autographs. She would be able to participate in programs, classes, singing competitions, etc.
Jink posted here earlier a quote from Judge Jeanne (FOX) and I loved how she put her reasons for LWOP. I am torn. Either way, she is convicted and that makes me happy.

Thanks! Makes more sense now. So Travis' suite was separate from the rest of the house and he kept it locked. And since it was locked they figured he had left for his trip. I did read a section of the thread where y'all discussed water on the floor to wash off blood. Well if T is in the shower showering as one tends to do in the shower....and he was squatted down in the shower when she took that last pic then she starts stabbing him and he crawls out of the shower and stumbles around ....while wet on tile floor.....and manages to get to the sink and cough up blood...she's stabbing him in the back and he is seeing this in the mirror (which had to be scarier than hell ) and he then trys to get away stumbling or crawling down the hall.....during all this the shower was probably still running all this time. So the floor was wet. That must explain the water/blood stains on the boxes.

I've seen the crime scene and autopsy photos but is there anywhere that shows each photo and actually has the description of items and things in the pic that the law points out?

I don't understand the part of Arias's interview where she's talking about taking a picture of Travis chasing a young naked boy around with his Bible.

Why were they hanging out with a kid? Why was he naked? Where were his parents? And why did she go, "Oh, I'll take a picture of this instead of telling the parents that it was odd"?

I do not get that whole scenario at all. Does that sort of picture exist? If it does, why didn't they use it in the case? Didn't she say her defense attorney said it wasn't relevant? Considering how much they dragged Travis through the mud, I'm surprised he didn't wave that photo around in court.

So what are the theories? Is this another total Jodi lie? Or is there a perfectly innocent explanation for what the photo (if it really exists) shows?

Agatha, the only thing I could come up with IF a pic exists of this is: They were babysitting for a friend perhaps. 4 year olds love to get naked. Did the child just get out from the tub, a sprinkler cooling, chaning into PJ's? Travis got up to chase him down to finish the matter at hand? Jodi took a pic. LOL. in Jodi's warped mind this shows he wanted that child in a sexual way.

If it exists it is more than likely something innocent at a friends house. At 4 my son used to streak around the house all of the time and didn't care who was here. Especially after a bath/or using the bathroom.
Bottom line: She is full of shit. The whole interview was her chance to trash Travis again. She trashed him every chance she had and included his family this time as well.
