Wow, you guys have to see this video, i think this is where Jodi got inspiration for her "linebacker" story from

Love it! I'm going to have to think on my list; you've hit so many of the best points! But I knew today that it was way past time I got off the Jodi clown car. As I was entering Starbucks for my usual Sunday cinnamon bun, and my first and last Strawberry Frappuccino (yuck), in honor of the verdict of course (plus it was the last day of their 1/2 price Frap special so what the hell), I saw a cream colored Ford Focus in the parking lot and said to my husband, "Look! That's Jodi's car!!!" He replied with, "you mean the rental?" (Still trying to get him current, he's been a reluctant/secret/hair curtain type of observer).

Last week we were filling up with gas and hand to heart, there was a guy at the pump ahead of us filling up 3...THREE...red gas cans! Of course the first words out of my mouth were...AHHH!!! JODI GAS CANS! My husband proceeded to educate me on just how much each one would weigh filled with 9.97 gallons of gas, surmising that only a #*$&# would cart those around in the trunk of her car while en route, through the desert, to commit murder.

I didn't watch Geraldo (not even my interest in this case could make me do that) but here is a longer, fuller version of her interview with Troy Hayden from FOX10 Phoenix.

The part where she claims photographic evidence of pedophilia starts around 14:24

That's so funny, diz! I did the same thing today, sort of. Went for my phone while sitting in the car, waiting for my husband who had run into the supermarket. So, bored, I went for my phone to make a call. Saw my battery was near dead but lo and behold, can't find the charger! Finally found it in the glove box but you KNOW I just had to look under the seat and think of HER! Arrrgh!

And one thing has been really bugging me about her gas can story, her supposedly needing to stock up "just in case" she ran out of gas in the middle of nowhere. If she was that concerned about being stranded, why didn't Jr. Einstein bring a back up battery for her phone?

I truly, really, honestly mean to write 5 gallon cans! Now that I've confessed to which one of us is the mathematically challenged one...

I thought the same exact thing.. except I said "for the price of the 3rd gas can she probably could have gotten a car charger for her cell phone"... even I have one of those... but we're thinking logically JA was thinking of how to get away with murder... slight difference.

That is one of the things I kept thinking about too. Whenever I drive to other states to romp with ex boyfriends in braids and gas cans, I always make sure I have a fully charged phone and put the charger right where I see it. And ya know, driving through the desert is not one of those backroad scenes from movies. There are McDonalds every 5 miles, gas stations, truck stops, hotels. It is hardly desolate unless you chose to drive a back road. And I mentioned one other time, her phone was charged in Pasadena. Mesa is like 5 hours away. All those hours with a phone she said died and couldn't find a charger???? If she can buy frapaccinos like she does, what is a $10 charger? More important I would say.

Mine is the Amica car insurance one. I really hate the little tune they have, and what's worse is that every time the commercial plays twice. The second time has different stuff going but it's basically the same thing and it's just so I usually change it unless I'm cleaning stuff up around the house and I'm forced to listen to it.

I saw a lady the other day at the bank. She had these long fingers and one was bent a little! Right away I thought of Jodi's long spider fingers! Will we ever be the same!

I haven't even been able to admit I watch to anyone anymore. The first few weeks I did, and I got the weirdest looks from family and friends.....so I have kept my obsession here with you all. I guess you could call this Our Dirty Little Secret.

Several years ago, I was in charge of a non-public school where all the students had some type of emotional disturbance. I find myself thinking of many of those students in relation to JA and her qualities. I would imagine studying someone like Stabby would be fascinating from a clinical point of view.

There is no doubt that JA and Bundy have a few things in common, but Bundy was a true psychopath and a sexual sadist. Bundy was also incredibly intelligent and a master manipulator; he makes JA look like a novice. Everyone loved Bundy before they found out what he really was and he was very charming. It seems JA was not very charming and she had very few social graces. Most describe her as weird or "off" and it seems like the whole Mormon church knew that she had something to do with the murder. Bundy had IQ (intelligence quotient) and EQ (emotional quotient), Jodi has the EQ of a dog toy.

I know JA is very dangerous, but I have my doubts about serial killer status. If Travis wouldn't have come along, she might have killed some guy anyway, but I think the situation would have had similar circumstances: rejection, perceived cheating, lack of importance. Travis was the victim here and no one deserves to die the way he did, but he continued to let her into his life and into his bed. I know I get grief for this, but Travis told all of his friends how she was stalking him (which she was) and how he was so done with her. She kept communicating with him, but he responded and he let her into his bed. I think Deanna said it perfectly when she said that Travis liked the attention JA gave to him. Every warning flag was flying in that poor man's face, but he couldn't stop seeing her. I am not blaming the victim here by any stretch, so I don't want y'all to jump on me.

I have tried to think about this case in the "what if's".

What if JA would have kept her big mouth shut from the beginning? Would we still be so adamant about her guilt? Would we all have gotten so invested? More than likely, she would have gotten Murder 2 and been out in 12 years.

What if we switch genders for Jodi and Travis? In other words, Travis showed up at Jodi's house and killed her. Would we feel differently or would we be asking why didn't she call the police. Do we expect more of women when it comes to unwanted stalking behavior. Come on, ladies.... How many of you would have let him in? Would you have called the police right away if your ex just showed up standing behind you at 4:00 AM?

    Just my opinions.... Nothing more.
Wow, that's a loaded post. To begin, I do think Jodi has the capacity to kill again. I'm not sure about serial killer status, but after doing what she did, and that she seemingly finds so much joy that she did it. Can you imagine the blood everywhere? The blood had to have covered her from head to toe. It's almost like she played in it, like a kid with paints. How could she ever be mentally ok after doing something like that, So gruesome, so violent, and not have a mustard seed of remorse. That really stuns me.
IMO, I think it would be more likely that a man committed this crime, would have gotten the needle before. So much to talk about, but I need a nap. Happy Mother's Day to all the Mom's out there :o) I'm sure I'll be back soon.

Hurry, hurry, hurry. Step right up, nows your chance to have some fun and maybe win a little moola. Jodi has become a celebrity and look, you can add her, any of her family members or anyone of the Defense Team.

Just submit your list of ten people and remit $ 5.00. And MDS allows you to post your list to keep track of you entries.

And that not all, you'll receive colorful and insightful commentaries on your selections by veteran MDSers like Chauncy, RonNYC and Bowie.

But wait - that not all, all winnings are not taxed.
